Gamseong Banjeom in Anyang: Jjamppong and Chinese Pub Review
Gamseong Banjeom is a Chinese pub-style restaurant in Anyang Ilbeonga near the public parking lot, with Yuni jjajang, Jin chadol jjamppong, chili-bomb yuringi, beer, rooms for groups, and Onnuri gift-certificate payment.
Hi, today I visited Gamseong Banjeom, a Chinese restaurant in Anyang Ilbeonga that people call one of the tastiest spots in the area. I did not know that reputation at first, but when I asked a friend to go with me, they immediately said it was famous for Chinese food in Ilbeonga. That was enough to make me head over right away.

It is near the Anyang Ilbeonga public parking lot. If you enter the alley by Starbucks, you can see it quickly. Hours are 17:00 to 02:00, and it is closed every Tuesday. For parking, using the nearby public parking lot is the easiest choice.

After passing the entrance and going upstairs, you arrive at a Chinese pub with a really attractive interior. You can come just for a meal without drinking, and the atmosphere also works well for company dinners or group gatherings.

There are rooms inside, so I saw plenty of group guests too. Even though I visited early in the evening, the place was almost full. I liked the mood, so I sat near the tree inside.

Yuni jjajang, Jin chadol jjamppong, spicy chili jjajang, and chili-bomb yuringi.
Three of us visited, and each person ordered one dish they wanted. We also ordered yuringi to share and beer. People say the jjamppong is especially good here, but I was craving jjajang that day, so I decided to share it with a friend. Spicy chili yuringi is such a good match when Chinese food starts to feel a little rich.

Tableware and basic seasonings are prepared at each table. I also liked that the water was not just plain water.

Extra side dishes are available at the self-service bar. Next to it, they had wet wipes, hand sanitizer, hair ties, and other useful items. After the meal, toothpicks and candy were also ready. Gamseong Banjeom really pays attention to small details.

One thing that impressed me was the room setup. It felt more comfortable than a regular open hall, and I could see why people would choose it for a casual group dinner.

The yuni jjajang had a rich sauce and a comforting texture. The spicy chili jjajang added heat without losing the savory flavor, so it was good for sharing at the table.

The Jin chadol jjamppong had a strong broth and plenty of ingredients. It had the kind of spicy, hearty flavor that makes you understand why people recommend the jjamppong here.

The chili-bomb yuringi was crisp on the outside and worked well with beer. The spicy sauce cut through the oiliness, so it was the dish I kept reaching for between bites of noodles.

The overall mood is closer to a Chinese pocha than a plain restaurant. It is good for dinner, drinks, and group meals, and the room seating makes it easier to visit with several people.

They also accept Onnuri gift certificates. I paid with an Onnuri gift certificate I had received recently, which made the meal feel even better.

If you are looking for good Chinese food in Anyang Ilbeonga or need a Chinese restaurant for a group dinner, I recommend Gamseong Banjeom. They also take room reservations, so booking ahead would make the visit more comfortable.
