Ddungbu Yubu Sanbon Yubu Sushi Near Gwangjeong Elementary

Hello, this is Ijjingne. Today I found that a yubu chobap shop, one of my favorite kinds of places, had opened in front of Gwangjeong Elementary in the Sanbon academy district. I was so excited that I ran over and brought some back as takeout.

On the first floor of the academy-district shopping building across from Gwangjeong Elementary, a cute sign welcomed me. It is on the elementary school side, not the main-road side. I think it would be good for group reservations when there are school or academy events.

When I counted, there were 28 kinds of yubu sushi. For someone who struggles to choose, that is both happy and sad. Since these are plump yubu chobap pieces, the price for one piece did not seem bad. There were also many other choices, including rice bowls, noodles, pork cutlet, and sides, so it seems good for eating a variety of things.

Inside, there seemed to be about five tables. Because it had not been open long, the interior was very clean. If you do not come early at lunchtime, there might not be seats.

Egg yubu chobap Crabstick yubu chobap Cheese buldak yubu chobap

This is what I ordered. Since I was taking them separately, I asked them to pack two pieces at a time.

Egg and buldak are such a good combination: one spicy bite, then one nutty and sweet bite. I was worried the buldak might be very spicy, but it was just pleasantly spicy. There was a lot of sauce, so it stayed moist until the end.

For the egg yubu chobap, the egg was so fluffy, almost like soft scrambled eggs. The seasoning was just right. I liked the buldak too, but I vote for the egg. The rice was seasoned as well, so because the buldak had quite a lot of sauce, it tasted a little salty.

I did not get to taste the crabstick flavor myself, but I heard it was fresh and tasty. I am glad a snack shop for a simple meal opened near the Sanbon academy district. Maybe because I like yubu chobap, I think I will go often. I want to keep visiting and try all 28 kinds.
