The Home Cafe in Anyang Sammak: Dog-Friendly Terrace Review
A dog-friendly cafe visit in Anyang Sammak at The Home Cafe, with terrace seating, easy parking, The Home-panya almond cream latte, iced Americano, and lemon cake.
Hello! This weekend I went to a dog-friendly cafe for the first time with the little cutie from our house.
1F, 43 Sammak-ro, Manan-gu, Anyang-si, Gyeonggi-do There was plenty of parking in front of the cafe. Dogs are allowed, and the owner really seems to love dogs. Business hours: 11:00-22:00 Our little one may not look it, but she is a 16-year-old senior dog. To me, Chorong is always my baby, and this was the first time I took her to a dog-friendly cafe. She tends to get carsick and growl when she sees other dogs, so somehow I had never brought her to a cafe before.

This is the cafe exterior. When I first saw it, it felt like a renovated house cafe. There were plenty of terrace seats, and it had a warm, atmospheric feeling.

The Home-panya (almond cream latte) Iced Americano Lemon cake
We ordered the signature drink and an iced Americano. When we ordered, there was no cake left, but when I went to pick up the drinks, cake had just come out. I really like lemon cake, so I added a cake too.

The cream was very rich and nutty. The weather was a little chilly, so drinking it warm felt especially nice.

We took a terrace seat, and the drinks were handed to us through the cute window in the left photo. It was calm, the atmosphere was good, and because we were outside, the dog liked it too.

I took a photo with my baby against the brick background. Maybe it was a little cold, because she kept wanting to be held, so after about 10 minutes outside we had no choice but to go in. Once inside, she got warm while I held her and started dozing. Maybe because it was Sunday, there were many other guests with dogs, about three teams. As expected, she growled, so we went in and out several times and I kept holding her.

Our baby did not seem perfectly matched with cafe life. The owner kept talking to us, saying things like, "What are you unhappy about? Do you need to pee? Do you need to poop?" It made us feel less embarrassed, and I was sorry and grateful.

The indoor seats were very hip and comfortable too.

There were also about two slightly private spaces, almost like rooms without doors. There were lots of small objects throughout the cafe, so it was fun to look around. Overall, the coffee menu tasted nutty and good, and I strongly recommend the lemon cake. If you are thinking about taking your dog out to a cafe, I really recommend this place. The surrounding area was not loud and felt quiet, and many dogs visit. It was a good place to relax with coffee on the terrace.
