Haedamchon Hogye King Galbitang Review in Anyang
A visit to Haedamchon Shabu-Shabu Hogye near Hogye Intersection and Hogye Market for a generous nourishing king galbitang, with notes on hours, parking, side dishes, rice refills, and group-friendly seating.
Hello, this is Izzingne. Today I visited Haedamchon Shabu-Shabu Hogye branch. Haedamchon specializes in shabu-shabu, but I heard its king galbitang is also generous and tasty, so I saved shabu-shabu for another day and chose the galbitang.

Haedamchon Hogye is near Hogye Intersection and Hogye Market. You can find it quickly across the main road from Pyeongchon Irvine First. Hours are 11:00 to 21:00, break time is 15:30 to 16:30, and last order is 20:00. The post says about two or three cars can park on the first floor of the building.

They were also running a Naver receipt review event. After writing three reviews, visitors could receive one serving of buchae-sal beef and one drink. Since it looked like many families visit, it was good to see baby chairs prepared too.

Nourishing king galbitang, three servings.
We ordered the nourishing king galbitang. If you order individual servings, they serve each person in a stone bowl, but because we ordered three servings, it came in a large hot pot. I liked being able to eat it piping hot as it boiled.

The interior is very spacious. The brick wall at the front works like a divider, and there was another wide space behind it. It felt like a good place for family gatherings, social meetups, or groups.

After ordering, the side dishes came out. Tteokbokki and japchae were included, which already says a lot. They were served warm, so they tasted even better. The seasoned acorn jelly and salad were good too.

If you need more side dishes, you can bring them from this area. I also loved that rice was unlimited.

This self bar is only for guests who order shabu-shabu. There were many kinds of vegetables, they looked fresh, and the area was kept clean.

After looking around the self bar, our galbitang finally arrived. It was the kind of dish that makes you say wow as soon as it comes out.

It was packed with nourishing seafood. The shrimp were large, and the beef ribs were huge too. There was so much food that we had to start by cutting everything up.

There really were a lot of ribs. The pot was also full of bean sprouts, glass noodles, mushrooms, and other ingredients.
The broth tasted clean and deep, the kind of flavor that made me remember the owner saying they only use good ingredients.

After eating galbitang with rice, I was already full, but I remembered the sujeonggwa from the self bar and brought some over. Haedamchon turned out to be great at sujeonggwa too. It was rich and delicious, and I definitely went back for a second cup.

For parking, enter through the first-floor alley of the building and there is space inside. Sedans can use the mechanical parking, while SUVs cannot enter the machine and should use the two or three outside spaces.
