Le Pain de Paris Haenggung-dong Croissant Cafe Review
A Suwon Haenggung-dong cafe review of Le Pain de Paris, covering croissants, brunch options, two-floor seating, outdoor seats, potato soup, sweet corn ice cream, and no on-site parking.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. Today I went to Haenggung-dong. I came here with croissants on my mind. Even before going, I was completely focused on the croissants here and went in excited.

From the entrance, it had a bit of a foreign-style feeling. They had lots of bread and a variety of brunch menu items, so it seemed good for stopping by around lunch for brunch if you skipped breakfast.

The bread selection looked amazing. Everything looked so appetizing that it almost seemed like a display model.

The condensed milk baguette and garlic baguette were so full that they could have been called condensed milk bomb and garlic bomb. There was also a crispy kouign-amann. I was already full, but I almost packed some to take home.

The croissants and pies with a lot of cream were kept in an open showcase, probably because of the temperature.

For Haenggung-dong, the prices did not feel bad.

I visited in the late afternoon and was hungry, so I ordered a croissant and soup set. Having a set menu was a nice point.

On the first floor, there were a few large tables, and through the back door there were many outdoor seats. Ice water and tissues were also easy to use.

On the way up to the second floor, there was a small space that worked like a mirror-photo spot. It was possible to take a nice mood shot there.

The second floor was much wider than the first floor, and there was also a restroom. The restroom had a cute, pretty feeling too.

After wondering where to sit, I chose an outdoor seat because the weather was nice. When the food came out, it looked so good that I could barely close my mouth. The potato soup was especially great. It had small bits inside and a nutty flavor, so I kept reaching for my spoon.

The sweet corn ice cream had a whole piece of corn on top, so it tasted nutty and sweet the whole time. It felt like a peaceful afternoon in the sun, cutting into a croissant sandwich.

It looked so pretty, but...

It was hard to eat. For one bite, the fillings should come together neatly, but that was not really possible with this sandwich. I ended up spreading it out and eating the parts separately. One thing I wished was different: there was barely any sauce on the sandwich, so it felt a bit dry.

Still, I finished everything perfectly within 30 minutes of the food coming out, then got up to walk to Banghwasuryujeong.

I spent a quiet weekend afternoon at a nice cafe in Haenggung-dong. If you are looking for a large cafe or a croissant spot in Haenggung-dong, I recommend this place. If you like soup, the soup is worth trying too.
For reference, parking is not available, so use a nearby public parking lot.
