Hanjeongsik Sagye Anyang Review: Beomgye Korean Set Meal
A personal review of Hanjeongsik Sagye near Beomgye Station in Anyang, covering the weekday special, green onion bulgogi, room seating, parking, and hours.

Today I visited Hanjeongsik Sagye (한정식사계), a hanjeongsik restaurant near Beomgye Station in Anyang. The place seems fairly new, so the dining room felt clean, and the food lineup was well put together. It already seems known as a spot for sanggyeonnye, the formal pre-wedding meeting between families, as well as family gatherings. I went on the last day of 2025 and enjoyed a generous Korean table spread to wrap up the year.

The location is near Beomgye Station. If you walk from Beomgye Station toward Acro Tower, it is in the Shark Zone Building on the left, right beside Dongan-gu Office. Hours: 11:00-21:00. Break time: 14:00-16:00. Last order: 14:00 and 19:30. Parking is available in the Shark Zone Building parking lot. There were plenty of parking spaces, and it seemed they provide about two hours of parking support.

I made a reservation in advance, and maybe because of that, I was shown to a private room. The table was already set for our group size, and there was an individual coat hanger inside the room, so the meal felt comfortable.

If you are having a simple meal or prefer an open space instead of a room, there are spacious seats outside the rooms as well. Because the seating area is roomy, it looked well suited for company dinners or group gatherings.

Weekday Special. Meal choice: green onion bulgogi.
I ordered the Weekday Special. The price changes a little depending on the meal dish you choose. I went with the easy, reliable green onion bulgogi. Of course, this menu is only available on weekdays.

The meal starts with welcome dishes and pre-meal dishes served in order. I liked that it was not a course meal where each dish comes out one by one; instead, everything was arranged as a full table setting. Before the main meal, cold dishes such as salad, vinegar-seasoned dishes, meat dishes, and chilled salad were served to wake up the appetite.

They also provided serving chopsticks so everyone could take portions, and the soup came separately for each person. The clam soup was refreshing and spicy, which made it tasty. While trying so many dishes, I kept taking a spoonful whenever I wanted to reset my palate, and it worked perfectly.

The dishes were neat and well seasoned, so the first table setting already made the meal feel satisfying. I especially liked the seasoned dishes. The vinegar-seasoned dish was really good.

Just as we were finishing the pre-meal dishes, the bulgogi I ordered came out with a side-dish set and jjigae. The timing of the food was excellent. A small candle was lit underneath the bulgogi, so it stayed warm until the end. The side dishes were the mild namul-style vegetables I personally like.

The pot rice came as one pot to share, so we served it into bowls. It seemed to be one pot for every two people. Since the pre-meal dishes had already made us fairly full, this amount of rice was enough.

The doenjang jjigae was also spicy and tasty. Even though I was already getting full from the pre-meal dishes, the bulgogi was soft and delicious, so I kept eating. In the end, I finished every last grain of rice.

For dessert, they served cold buckwheat tea. It refreshed my palate after the meal and felt like a nicely balanced drink dessert. What I liked about Hanjeongsik Sagye is that the menu and table-setting options are varied, so you can choose according to the mood of the meal or your budget. The food was tasty, and the staff were kind. Since it was my last meal of 2025, I left feeling very happy and would like to come back.
