Smashing Bowl Sadang: Bowling, Cocktails, Darts & Games
A first-person review of Smashing Bowl near Sadang Station exits 13 and 14, covering its late hours, bowling prices, cocktails, lanes, no-parking note, and waiting-area games.
Hi! Today’s review is of Smashing Bowl, a bowling alley I visited in Sadang. After having drinks with friends in Sadang, we suddenly felt like bowling and found this place. It seemed to be the only nearby bowling alley. I went in without checking the prices and was surprised because it was quite expensive, but the atmosphere was nice and pretty, so we still had a fun time.

The location is close to Sadang Station exits 13 and 14. It was convenient because it is right by the station. 📍 Hours 13:00–05:00 With hours like that, it felt almost like an all-night option. It also seemed that if you reserve in advance, you may be able to bowl outside those hours. 📍 Parking Parking is not available. 📍 Cost Shoe rental: 4,000 KRW 1 game: 8,000 KRW The price is pretty high, so it feels different from a typical neighborhood bowling alley.

First of all, the atmosphere was really good. The lighting and interior were very pretty. I think there were 7 lanes in total: 6 in the center and 1 in the back. Since there is only one lane in the back area, you can play just with your group without being disturbed by the lane next to you.

We went there as a third stop after drinking, so I was thinking about what to order and chose a cocktail. Bottled beer was 11,000 KRW, which felt quite expensive, so I had a cocktail for the first time in a while. I did not expect much from the cocktail, but the alcohol taste was stronger than I expected, and I liked it.

When we visited, the only available spot was the single lane in the back, so we played there. It was nice to bowl just with friends, but the area felt a little narrow, so it was a bit uncomfortable whenever the players changed.

The shoes were also interesting. They were not Velcro bowling shoes; they looked more like dress shoes with laces. They were unique, but they felt a bit stiff, so they were not very comfortable on my feet.

This place seems to have a surprising amount of waiting, but we were lucky and got in right away. If you do need to wait, you can freely use board games, darts, a soccer game, and other activities, so a short wait might actually be fun.
