Odong Jokbal in Bakdal-dong, Anyang: Local Jokbal Review
A personal review of Odong Jokbal in Bakdal-dong, Anyang, a long-running jokbal spot the reviewer has eaten at more than 10 times. Includes hours, bus access, seating notes, and the ordered jokbal, spicy jokbal, and makguksu.
Hello! Today I visited a jokbal restaurant in Bakdal-dong, Anyang. This is a place I often order for takeout, but after eating in for the first time in a while, it tasted warm and even better. I’ve eaten here more than 10 times, so it is a real regular spot for me :)

Odong Jokbal is in Bakdal-dong, Anyang. From Bakdal Samgeori, go a little farther in the direction of Bakdal Elementary School. There is a bus stop right in front, so it is convenient by public transportation! Even just looking at the exterior, you can feel that this place has been around for quite a while. It was already there when I was much younger, and seeing it still operating makes it feel like a true local favorite haha. 📍 Hours 14:00–24:00 Since it opens from the daytime, it is also nice for an early-afternoon visit.

I was eating so happily that I ended up with no photo of the spicy jokbal. We ordered for six people, and the amount was enough. It was just right to eat together as food with drinks haha.

I had only done takeout before, and this was my first time eating inside the restaurant, but the interior was quite clean!? There are about four tables, and the tables can be put together for group seating, so it seems good even if several people visit together.

The glossy look is amazing, right? There was no unpleasant smell at all, and there was plenty of lean meat. The lightly seasoned chives were also excellent.

They also serve bean sprout soup with it, and it is perfect as a refreshing palate cleanser. They bring the basic side dishes and pairings you need, and it has that feeling of a real neighborhood favorite.

The makguksu came out too~ From then on, I must have put my phone down and just eaten, which is probably why there is no photo of the spicy jokbal lol. Makguksu and jokbal go well together, and there were lots of vegetables, so it was crunchy and tasty. The spicy jokbal was totally my style!! It was moderately spicy, so maybe even people who are sensitive to spice could try it? Anyway, if you are looking for a jokbal place in Bakdal-dong, I highly recommend Odong Jokbal. At least try it as takeout first haha. . . . #BakdalDongJokbal #AnyangJokbal #AnyangJokbalTakeout #AnyangLateNightFood #AnyangJokbalRecommendation #AnyangBossam #AnyangSpicyJokbal #BakdalDongRestaurants #BakdalDongSpicyJokbal #AnyangRestaurants
