Cafe Good Weather Anyang: Desserts, Bear-Ice Coffee & Big Tree
A personal review of Cafe Good Weather Anyang, a popular dessert cafe around Anyang Station and Anyang Ilbeonga, with cakes, financiers, Einspanner, bear-shaped milk ice coffee, review events, and a late dessert discount.
Hi! Today I visited Cafe Good Weather Anyang, a cafe I often go to in my neighborhood. This place has a genuinely wide variety of desserts, and they are delicious—especially the cakes. Among cafes around Anyang Station, I do not think there are many with this many cake options.

The cafe is located in an alley off the main street of Anyang Ilbeonga. It is an upstairs corner spot, so it is easy to find and visible from outside. Go up to the 3rd floor and enter through the pretty wooden door. Hours listed in the review: 13:00-23:00, with last order at 22:00. On Saturday and Sunday, it opens at 12:00.

I visited at around 7 p.m. The cafe is on the spacious side, but maybe because it is so popular, there were not many seats left. Luckily, one seat was available inside, so I sat down right away, but the next customers seemed to wait a little. Even on a weekday evening, this place was busy—yes, it really earns its reputation as a dessert cafe.

Review event: a Naver review gets you a cookie, and an Instagram Story review gets you a free drink coupon. The review says you can participate in both, which is a very good deal. Dessert discount: from 8:30 p.m., desserts are 20% off. If you can eat them that day or the next day, it would be nice to take some home on your way out. I left after 8:30 p.m., but I had plans afterward, so I could not get anything packed. Next time, I definitely want to use the discount and take some desserts home.

Cafe Good Weather also has gift packaging boxes. They come in small, medium, and large sizes, and the design is pretty, so they look great for gifts. I think they would work well for housewarming gifts, thank-you gifts, group gifts, and similar occasions.

Since I visited later in the day, a few desserts were sold out. Still, the desserts I wanted to try were still available, which was such a relief. I debated between a tart and a cake, then decided on one cake and one financier.

Because it is winter, I chose the fresh tangerine cake. As a yellow cheese lover, I could not pass up the Yellow Cheese Financier. I also ordered the Einspanner because the cream on top looked so pretty, and the cold brew latte because it came with bear-shaped milk ice. I was going to get a regular latte, but once I saw the bear milk ice, I immediately changed to cold brew.

Cafe Good Weather has a receipt photo machine. There was no way I could just walk past it. It is one photo per person, but my friend said they were not going to take one, so I took two, including my friend’s. The photos come out in black and white, and they have a surprisingly nice, sentimental feel. It is perfect for making a small memory with a friend.

After ordering, I looked around and took photos while waiting, and soon everything was ready. There was a Cafe Good Weather-branded cup, the bear detail was so cute, and the desserts looked mouthwatering just from looking at them.


The Dolce Cold Brew Latte needs to be mixed well, so I spun the bear around in the drink. It was even cuter than I expected, and the bear’s fur texture was described in such detail that I found it fascinating. I was amazed that it froze so neatly. The Dolce Cold Brew Latte tasted quite sweet and paired well with the cold brew. As the bear melted while I drank it, the coffee became a little lighter, and the milk made it feel nuttier and smoother.

The Vanilla Bean Einspanner had plenty of fluffy cream on top. The coffee was smooth, and there was a lot of vanilla bean. I could see the vanilla bean specks packed into the cream. It was less sweet than expected, and the cream plus espresso gave it a nutty flavor. Since I do not usually like very sweet drinks, I liked the Vanilla Bean Einspanner quite a lot.

The cream in the fresh tangerine cake was really good. After trying it, I became curious about the other cakes too. The tangerine, cake sheet, and cream were moist, soft, and went together so well. It was the ultimate refreshing-sweet combination. The Yellow Cheese Financier had a dense yellow cheese flavor and a chewy financier texture, so of course it worked well. The sweet-and-salty combination was excellent. Also, Cafe Good Weather’s financiers are a little bigger than other financiers, which is another plus.


If you are looking for a cafe around Anyang Station, this is the one. A huge tree, a photo machine, a wide variety of desserts, cute bear ice—bring your girlfriend here. Bringing someone you are interested in? Bring them here too; it feels like a sure success. The chairs are comfortable, and the interior feels warm, so I think it will be especially popular in winter.

The cafe was decorated with a full Christmas feeling, so it already felt like the end-of-year season, which put me in a good mood. You can also take a great photo in front of the huge tree. I did not take one because there were too many people, but there is also a large full-length mirror with the tree in the background, perfect for a mirror shot. Every small prop was cute. If you are looking for a good dessert cafe around Anyang Station, I strongly recommend Cafe Good Weather.
