Yuel Perfume Studio Pyeongchon One-Day Class Review
A detailed solo healing visit to Yuel, a perfume studio near Pyeongchon Station Exit 2 in Anyang, covering reservation, 10:00-22:00 hours, scent testing, two trial blends, bottle choice, labeling, packaging, and certificate classes.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. The weather has been cold, and I was feeling a little down for no clear reason, so I booked a perfume studio session for a mood reset and some solo healing. I visited Yuel, a perfume studio in Pyeongchon.

From Pyeongchon Station Exit 2, it takes about 1 to 2 minutes on foot. It is close and easy to find. The listed hours are 10:00 to 22:00. I visited after making a Naver reservation in advance.

As soon as I entered, the atmosphere and interior were so pretty. The simple white-toned space displayed perfumes, diffusers, and other items made by the instructor, so it felt like stepping into a perfume shop. It gave a very professional impression.

The table for my session was prepared in advance to match my reservation time.

At Yuel, you can make two scents and choose the one you like to turn into a perfume. If you like both, you can pay an additional fee and make both. The paper has sections for the concept you want to create and for recording drop counts so you do not get confused while blending.

Before the class began, the instructor calmly explained the introduction, precautions, and process. I really liked that. In some other classes, I had heard a quick explanation and started right away without fully understanding the process, but this time I could focus better because I understood each step first.

After learning about fragrance families, I had 20 minutes alone to find scents I liked. This was the most fun part for me. Focusing on scents that felt good to me made time pass quickly.

When I found a scent I liked, I put it on a smelling strip and set it aside. The instructor said that if my nose hurt or I felt dizzy from smelling too many scents, smelling coffee beans would help. I thought it would not be that serious, but the coffee beans were very useful. Without them, it might have been hard.

They also served a tasty fruit tea to sip during the session. The cup was very pretty. I could choose between fruit tea and coffee.

Using the scents I had worked hard to find, I combined them in different ways to make perfume. I usually like fresh citrus scents, but this time I was drawn to woody notes and wanted a perfume with a strong woody feeling. When I explained that, the instructor kept it in mind while helping me along the way.

Once I finished a combination I liked, the instructor calculated the ratios for each scent. She brought the four scents I had mixed and the perfume base, then explained that I could add them according to the ratio.

While mixing the scents, I chose my favorite design from four bottles and also thought about a perfume name for the label to tell the instructor later.

The two scents I made were ready, and they sprayed them separately on each side so I could smell them again. I chose the first scent I made.

Because I made a woody perfume with oak notes, I simply named it Oak Woody. The packaging was finished quickly.

I also took photos carefully at the photo zone. The package looked so pretty.

For reference, Yuel offers not only one-day classes but also perfumer certification and perfumery completion courses. Many people will visit for a one-day class, but these courses could be helpful for people who are very interested in perfumery.

The diffusers and perfumes displayed along the wall were made by the instructor. They are also sold there, so if you try a scent and like it, buying one could be a good idea.

Yuel perfume studio gave me a proper solo healing session. If you are looking for a unique date idea in Pyeongchon, I recommend making your own perfume through a one-day class.
