Geudaemanui Jageun Gonggan Uiwang Pasta Review
A brunch-date review of Geudaemanui Jageun Gonggan in Uiwang, located in the Maehwa Apartment commercial building, with pasta, risotto, steak, wine options, hours, and parking notes.

I visited Uiwang for a brunch date with my mom today. I had already tried this same place once in Anyang’s Bisan-dong and was quite satisfied then, so this time I came to the Uiwang branch.

The location is in the Maehwa Apartment commercial building in Uiwang. I visited by car, and I noticed there was also a bus stop right in front, so transportation seemed convenient. Hours 11:00–22:00 Break time: 15:00–17:00 Last order: 21:00 Parking You can use the Maehwa Apartment parking lot. At the entrance, there is a sign saying outside vehicles are not allowed to park, but if you ask when you arrive, they let you know that parking is available.

This is what the interior felt like. There is a large window at the front, and the green trees outside made the view pretty. I visited with my mom, just the two of us, and maybe because we had reserved in advance, we were guided to a four-person sofa seat.

After sitting down and looking around, I noticed they had a lot of wine options. They also sell wine by the glass, and the prices felt affordable, so it seemed like a nice place to have a simple drink in the evening with some atmosphere. Since I visited during the day, I sadly stayed with a non-alcoholic drink.

The pre-meal bread was Bushman bread, served with strawberry jam. It came out warm, which made it nice to eat.

What we ordered: Salchisal steak Cream vongole Snowing tomato risotto
Because of a steak event, we received one lemon ade. Since we ordered one menu item per person, a carbonated drink also came as a service item. The value felt amazing. As someone who always wants a drink when eating Western-style food, this was the best kind of event.

The pasta came out first. The tomato risotto had a generous amount of snowing cheese sprinkled on top. The cream vongole felt like a cream pasta and had a lot of clams in it. I had been craving vongole for the first time in a while, so it was exactly what I wanted.

The risotto had a truly generous amount of shrimp. The tomato sauce was tasty, and I was satisfied with the amount of rice. I especially loved how much cheese there was. It was piled on so thickly that I was surprised while eating.

The cream vongole was also really good. Maybe because of the clams, it had a slightly salty taste and a lot of savory depth. I usually prefer oil pasta over cream pasta, but the cream pasta at Geudaemanui Jageun Gonggan never feels too greasy, which I like.
Once the steak came out, I took another photo. We ordered a nicely balanced mix: risotto, pasta, and steak. For two people, it felt like quite a lot of food.

The steak was CAB-grade salchisal, and it was written that they use the best part. It was not tough and tasted good. I am not sure whether you can choose the doneness, but mine came out cooked just right at the medium-rare level I like. The sauce, garnish, and salad served with it were nice, and there was even mashed potato under the steak. Steak alone can get a little heavy, so I liked that there were several things to enjoy with it.

Even the ade was tasty at Geudaemanui Jageun Gonggan Uiwang branch. The staff were kind, and the menu was so varied that it took us quite a while to choose. Because there is a wide range of choices for different tastes, it seems good for group gatherings, dates, and visits with children. When I visited, there was also a table in the middle of a family gathering. It felt like the kind of place where kids can eat well and adults can enjoy the meal too. I would definitely revisit. #OjeonDongRestaurants #UiwangDate #UiwangRestaurants #UiwangPasta #UiwangWesternFood #UiwangSteak #OjeonDongSteak #OjeonDongPasta #UiwangLunchRecommendation #UiwangLunchGathering #UiwangFamilyGathering #UiwangFamilyRestaurant #UiwangRestaurant
