Taimasil Anyang Thai Restaurant Rad Na Review
A first-visit review of Taimasil, the Thai restaurant on Anyang Ilbeonga Dengnidan-gil, with location notes, hours, Naver booking drink service, Pu Phat Pong Curry, the new Rad Na menu, and mango jelly at checkout.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. I visited Taimasil, described in the source as the only Thai restaurant on Dengnidan-gil in Anyang Ilbeonga. The Blue Ribbon caught my eye right away. This is the place that showed me how good Thai food can be.

Taimasil is in the alley next to Daro on Dengnidan-gil. It is not far from the Daedong Bookstore intersection in Anyang Ilbeonga, so it is easy to find. The listed hours are 11:30 to 22:00, with break time from 15:00 to 17:00. On weekends, the source says closing is 30 minutes later.

Inside, the atmosphere has a local Thai feel, and there seem to be about seven or eight tables. If your timing is off at dinner, you may not avoid a wait, so I recommend going early.

We ordered Pu Phat Pong Curry, the new Rad Na menu, and drinks.
At Taimasil, people say Pu Phat Pong Curry is a must-order, so we got that and the new Rad Na. I considered trying Thai beer and asked the staff, but they said the beers had a sour taste, so my friend and I safely switched to Tera.

There was a cute Santa decoration for Christmas, and the poster had a retro feel.

After ordering food, the drinks came first. The cup was large, which made mixing somaek a little difficult, but I handled it, and my friend was very pleased.

For reference, if you visit after making a Naver reservation, the source says they provide a drink service. We received Zero Coke.

The Pu Phat Pong Curry came out first. Fried soft-shell crab was topped with Thai-style curry sauce. The crab was crisp but soft, so it was not hard to chew whole, and the smooth curry sauce paired really well with it.

One piece of crab with a sip of beer was an excellent pairing. I wondered whether curry flavor would go well with beer, but it was so good that the beer went down easily.

The second dish was Rad Na. It is Thai-style ulmyeon, and they pour plenty of seafood over a hot plate. The broth splashes a bit to the sides, but it was fun to watch the presentation.

It reminded me of the ulmyeon flavor I already knew, and because the noodles were chewy, it also felt a little like Chinese-style seafood nurungji tang. Soft egg inside made it richer and tastier with the seafood.

My first visit to Taimasil was a complete success. The Pu Phat Pong Curry was exactly my taste, and the new Rad Na was also delicious. I was glad my first Thai food experience like this happened at Taimasil.

At checkout, the owner gave us a handful of chewy mango jelly. I think I will come back whenever I crave Thai food. If you want a special meal on Dengnidan-gil, I recommend it.
