Slum Dunk Beomgye: Handmade Burger Review in Anyang
A repeat-visit review of Slum Dunk in Beomgye, Anyang, a handmade burger spot right by Beomgye Station Exit 2 with kiosk ordering, roomy seating, burger sets, and parking nearby at Pyeongchon Rodeo Public Parking Lot.

Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I went back to one of my regular handmade burger spots: Slum Dunk (슬럼덩크) in Beomgye. Among the handmade burger places I’ve tried in Anyang, this one feels like my favorite. It was excellent again.

Slum Dunk is right in front of Beomgye Station Exit 2. Since it is in a building on the main street, access is convenient and it is easy to find. Opening hours are listed as 11:00 to 21:30. I did not notice a regular closing day. For parking, the review recommends Pyeongchon Rodeo Public Parking Lot. In my case, I parked there and paid after about 1 hour, and it came out to 600 won, which felt very reasonable.

Truffle Garlic Mushroom set All Day Burger set
The set menu components can be changed. For the Truffle Garlic Mushroom Burger, I chose cola and corn salad. For the All Day Burger, I chose beer and a hash brown. Ordering through the kiosk was convenient.

The atmosphere is seriously impressive. Slum Dunk has all the hip details.

There are comfortable 2-person and 4-person seats, and there is also 6-person seating prepared for groups.

The space felt roomy, so it was comfortable for eating. The chairs were comfortable too, and I really liked the music. The whole place had a very hip mood.

The interior details stand out all around the restaurant. Every time I visit, I end up looking around again. Even the tissue holder was so cute.

When the food first comes out, most of what you need is already provided. If you need anything else, you can get it from the self-service bar. Different kinds of water, sauces, wet wipes, knives, and other useful items were prepared there.

Even though it was the middle of the day, I was craving beer, so I ordered the burger-and-beer set. I did not regret it. The bun was very soft and chewy, the patty was crispy, and it felt like they did not hold back on the ingredients.

I liked the thoughtful touch of adding ice and lemon to the drink cup. The corn salad portion was generous too, so the meal was filling. The Truffle Garlic Mushroom Burger had a strong truffle aroma, and garlic chips were layered inside. It had a texture I had not really experienced in a hamburger before, and it was so good. The garlic chips were the highlight.

The All Day Burger had a classic, straightforward flavor. To me, it tasted like the complete handmade burger flavor I usually imagine. It was even better because the ingredients were plentiful.

The draft beer was also very cold and tasty. I visit this place often, and from now on I think I’ll enjoy it as a burger-and-beer set. The pairing with beer was the best. If you want handmade burgers in Beomgye, I highly recommend Slum Dunk. #BeomgyeRestaurants #AnyangRestaurants #BeomgyeStationRestaurants #BeomgyeLotteDepartmentStoreFood #AnyangHandmadeBurger #BeomgyeHandmadeBurger #BeomgyeBurgerRestaurant #AnyangBurgerRestaurant #AnyangHamburgerRecommendation #AnyangDateCourse #BeomgyeDateCourse #BeomgyeLunchRecommendation
