Room Escape Olive Sinchon: Oz Exceed Dream Review
A personal review of the Oz Exceed Dream escape room theme at Room Escape Olive in Sinchon, including the 75-minute play time, difficult rating, late hours, reservation notes, and spoiler-free impressions.
Hello! Today I’m back with an escape room review. I really enjoy collecting escape-room clears, but I’ve been too busy to go often lately. Then I heard there was an all-device theme in Sinchon that sounded exactly like my taste, so I reserved right away. The theme is Oz Exceed Dream at Room Escape Olive in Sinchon!

I think it took about 10 minutes on foot from Sinchon Station. Since parking seemed like it might be difficult, I took the subway, and the place felt close because it was only about 10 minutes from the station. Walking along the main road and looking around made the time pass quickly. Business hours: 10:00-23:55 You can experience an escape room even fairly late at night! Because this is a popular theme, I reserved about a week in advance. I chose a weekend afternoon time slot, and when I checked on the day, it was fully booked.. 😗 I was glad I had booked early. If you have a preferred time, I recommend reserving early!!

After arriving and going down to the basement, you come into a clean space. I’ve been to many escape rooms, but this was my first time seeing this kind of interior. It felt neat and cozy, which I liked even more haha.

The staff greeted us warmly and explained how to store our belongings. All electronic devices and personal items go into lockers, and you lock them with a number you set yourself. Shoes are stored separately in a shoe cabinet, and you have to change into indoor slippers before entering.

Before the escape room begins, you sit on the sofa here and listen to the theme explanation. They explain the background and story before starting the theme.
The Oz Exceed Dream theme I reserved has: Play time: 75 minutes Difficulty: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ / on the difficult side Dorothy Sullivan is the only daughter of an American conglomerate family and a successful career woman in New York. At a banquet celebrating a successful corporate launch, she receives a plaque of appreciation, then returns home to the 51st floor of her officetel in New York. Dragging her tired body to the front door, she opens it and is greeted by a messy home. “...No, I told them to leave alone what they didn’t know, but did the housekeeper really clock out and leave it like this?” The theme starts inside Dorothy’s home, so I was really looking forward to it lol.

After watching a full video explanation, we listened to the final notes about using hints, precautions, and other details, then went in!

What was interesting about Oz Exceed Dream is that it is a “push-through” style theme. Once you clear a section and move forward, the next team starts the game behind you! Because of that, if your pace is too slow, they may have you move faster or skip a section so the next team does not catch up. But even though I felt like I got stuck a lot and took a long time, the team behind us did not catch up haha. It seems like there is a reasonable amount of room, so I think it’s best to focus on the game as you play. + Since this is an all-device theme, there were no padlocks. It uses touchpads, screens, computers, and other devices, so you need to handle the interior equipment carefully.

We had fun playing and came out, and although we went slightly over time, we did succeed in escaping! The staff did not intervene in the middle just because time ran out. At the end, after the game finishes, you see the backstory and ending in an ending room. An escape room that shows the ending perfectly all the way through..! It was seriously the best ><

We decorated the board, slowly gathered our things, and left. To share my overall thoughts without spoilers: first of all, I had never seen a theme like this before..! There was not a single padlock, and everything was made up of devices, so there were so many parts that felt fresh and clever. The theme has three sections, so it felt longer than I expected, but not to the point of being boring or exhausting. It felt more like playing a game than escaping a room?? I think people may be divided on it, but for me it was a total yes!! It was so much fun.

You can also get a discount by writing a Naver receipt review. Use the discount and enjoy it more affordably >< If you are looking for a fresh escape-room theme in Sinchon, I recommend Room Escape Olive. I strongly recommend the Oz theme!! . . . #SinchonEscapeRoom #SinchonUniqueDate #SinchonDate #HongdaeEscapeRoom #EwhaEscapeRoom #ThingsToDoInSinchon #SinchonDateSpot #SeoulEscapeRoom #ThingsToDoInSeoul
