Hello! Today I visited “Seuchim” (스침), a newly opened bar near Sanbon Station. It had been a while since I last drank in Sanbon, and as soon as I heard there was a new place, I went straight there. It turned out to be a distinctive Sanbon spot where you can drink while playing board games. 👍

The location is about a 2-minute walk from Sanbon Station Exit 3. Because it is close to Sanbon Station, it is easy to visit. Opening hours: 17:00-01:00 Friday and Saturday: 17:00-02:00 For parking, you can use the Sanbon Central Commercial District public parking lot.

The inside was quite spacious and clean. Most of the seating was for four people, and there was also a larger table that could be used by groups. For groups of 9 or more, group reservations are possible through Naver Reservation. If you are planning a company dinner or gathering, it would be a good idea to reserve in advance before visiting.

There were also two tables with this cozy feel. They had cute can-style stools, and the seats had partitions in front and behind, so I really wanted to sit there. On the evening I visited, the air was just right, so I sat by the window with it open, and it felt so cool and nice.

The highlight of Seuchim...! You can play board games while drinking. Since there are snacks and drinks on the table, you probably cannot play anything too elaborate, but simple card games, chip games, or games that do not require many pieces spread out should work well. The tables at Seuchim felt wide overall, and I wondered if they had deliberately paid attention to that so people could play board games comfortably. It seems like a great place to visit as a group and drink while playing games. ><

Seasoned grilled boneless chicken thigh Cream jjamppong Soju
We visited as our first stop, so we ordered two kinds of bar food. The spicy braised galbi could not be ordered before 18:00, so after thinking it over, we chose the seasoned grilled boneless chicken thigh and the thick, creamy jjamppong. Both dishes came out quickly, so it was nice not to have to wait long.

These were events being held at Seuchim. 📍 If it is your birthday, show your ID, and if your birthday is within one week, you can receive a birthday drink. The drink is either a Bell's highball or draft beer. 📍 If you receive your receipt in advance, take a nice photo of your food, and leave a review on Naver, you can choose one gift from Condition, Home Run Ball, a soft drink, or draft beer. If it is your birthday, getting a birthday drink and then receiving a gift for writing a review sounds really nice.

The seasoned grilled boneless chicken thigh came out first. It was tasty when dipped in the sauce. The sauce had a garlic mayo kind of feel, and it matched the seasoned grilled chicken thigh perfectly. >< There were also big pieces of green onion, so it did not feel greasy, and eating the chicken together with the green onion was just right. This really is a Sanbon food spot, right?

Once the cream jjamppong came out too, the table looked great. The cream jjamppong here is really delicious...

First of all, it was packed with seafood. With large shrimp, webfoot octopus, clams, and more, it felt generous enough to match the name jjamppong.

The noodles were not too thick, so it almost felt like pasta, but the chewy texture definitely made it feel like jjamppong. The sauce was savory and delicious, and it paired so well with the seasoned grilled chicken thigh.

We were deep in conversation while eating, and the owner kindly served us a row of melon as a complimentary treat. ❤️ It was not even topped with condensed milk, but it was very sweet and delicious. A bar that gives a complimentary treat... and me becoming a regular... I am really going back next time. I approve of this tasty new bar.

Overall, it was clean, and the hygiene looked good, so I would 100% revisit. I had been to quite a few bars in Sanbon and was starting to feel a little bored, so finding this new Sanbon spot made me really happy. >< #SanbonRestaurant #SanbonStationRestaurant #SanbonBar #SanbonStationBar #SanbonJjamppong #SanbonBarFood #SanbonBoardGames #SanbonBoardGameDrinks
