Pyeongchon Massage Review: Phuket Couple Therapy Thai Massage

Today I visited Phuket Couple Therapy, a Pyeongchon massage shop. Lately I have been spending longer hours sitting at work, and after work I often skip exercise or stretching and just go to sleep. My back, neck, and shoulders had become really tight, so I made a reservation after hearing this was a good massage place in Pyeongchon.

The location is about a 1-minute walk from Pyeongchon Station Exit 2. I also went by subway, and it was quick and convenient. Being so close to the station was a big plus. The listed opening hours are 11:00 AM to 4:00 AM, so this is a place where you can get a massage even late at night. It should be convenient for people who finish work late or want to visit at a later hour. For Phuket Couple Therapy in Pyeongchon, both phone reservations and Naver Reservation are available. These days, Naver Reservation feels fast and simple. 📍0507-1320-7155

Phuket Couple Therapy in Pyeongchon uses a 100% pure plant-based herbal oil made with nine oils that are good for skin nourishment. The oils listed are grapeseed oil, almond oil, jojoba seed oil, apricot kernel oil, olive oil, borage oil, calendula oil, grapefruit peel oil, and lemon peel oil. I received a dry massage, but near the end they lightly applied oil on my back to finish. The scent was nice, and it felt warm and pleasant.

There is also a waiting area by the entrance, so it was comfortable to listen to the explanation before the massage.

This was the first Pyeongchon massage shop I have visited that checked things so carefully. You can mark the areas that usually feel uncomfortable or the areas where you want a little more attention, then hand the sheet over to them. You can also mark places you do not want massaged or areas that may be sensitive or risky to touch.

Inside, there are several rooms. They let me choose between a bed type and a floor type. When I get a massage on the floor, I find the face position uncomfortable, so I prefer a bed. They arranged it the way I wanted.

If you want a couple massage in Pyeongchon, this room would be a good option. I liked that even the two-person rooms let you choose between floor type and bed type.

I used the room on the left. As they guided me to the room, they had already warmed the bed in advance. That was a thoughtful touch.

This area can accommodate up to three people. If the door beside it is opened, the rooms connect, so it seems good for family visits or a group of three friends.

For the parts where your face and head touch, Phuket Couple Therapy uses disposable cloths, so they also pay attention to hygiene.

You can store your clothes here, and since they stay inside the treatment room with you, it feels reassuring.

The therapist came in with the towels and oil to be used during the session, along with the checklist I had filled out before the massage. Whenever my posture changed during the session, she asked if I was okay. She also understood Korean well, so there was no problem communicating. Thai massage felt a little stronger than aroma massage, but for me it was actually more refreshing than when I had received an aroma massage. At first, because it was a dry massage, I wondered if it would be very painful. The therapist adjusted the pressure well and told me not to worry, so I was able to enjoy it. Because there was no oil, the pressure did feel a bit stronger, but Thai massage suited me well.

Overall, I was satisfied with the massage. They filled the time accurately, and they worked well on my shoulder and neck areas, which had been very tight. From now on, I think I will go to Phuket Couple Therapy for massage in Pyeongchon. It felt so refreshing while I was receiving it, and I felt my fatigue easing so much that I started getting sleepy.

After the massage, before leaving, if you receive a receipt and write a receipt review, you can get a 5,000 KRW discount on your next visit. Also, Phuket Massage is operated as a 100% legitimate wellness massage shop, so I felt more comfortable visiting.

I recommend it as a good place for couple massage in Pyeongchon. Next time, I want to bring my parents. The place has a bit of age to it, but to me that made it feel more traditional, and I think there is a reason it has stayed around for a long time. Since there is a three-person room, it would be nice to visit with family and have a healing break.
