Pureupapa Cafe Near Seoul City Hall: Ice Cream Latte Review
A visit to Pureupapa in Bukchang-dong near City Hall Station for ice cream latte, iced Americano, macarons, and easy takeout in a clean cafe with plenty of seats.
Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I visited Pureupapa, a Bukchang-dong cafe near City Hall Station in Seoul Jung-gu. It is known for its ice cream latte, and the value is apparently strong too, so it draws a lot of people.

From City Hall Station Exit 8, you just cross the street and arrive quickly. It sits on a corner, so it is easy to spot, and simple takeout orders can be placed from outside. Maybe that is why there were so many people at the entrance, all waiting for their orders.

Ice soft latte, iced Americano, lemon yogurt macaron, refreshing blueberry macaron, strawberry macaron, ggulggulbar macaron, and daldalpong macaron.
I ordered the latte topped with sweet ice cream, then suddenly got into macarons and added five of them.

The inside of the cafe was very clean. It was busy because there were many customers, but the tables were kept tidy, and staff came out right away to wipe them down.

Because it was crowded, this is the only interior photo I took, but there were more tables than I expected, and the chairs were comfortable. It felt like a good place to rest with something sweet.

Besides macarons, they also had cakes and cookies. Next time I want to try the Pine Bianco, which adds ice cream on top of pineapple sherbet. I chose coffee because I was a bit full, but I kept thinking about it on the way home.

My ice cream latte came out soon after ordering. It has a latte base topped with rich milk-flavored ice cream. The ice cream was thick, chewy, sweet, and deeply milky, so with the latte it tasted seriously good.

We ordered the Americano in a large size and shared it between two people, but there was still some left because it was huge. Pureupapa coffee was tasty too, and I liked that it was strong.

For the macarons, my two picks were the ggulggulbar macaron and the lemon yogurt macaron. The ggulggulbar one even had strawberry jam inside, so it tasted just like the familiar Korean ice cream bar, and the lemon yogurt was refreshing and delicious.

The blueberry, strawberry, and daldalpong macarons were also nice with coffee. Sweet dessert really does belong next to an Americano. I enjoyed everything.

The restroom was inside, and it looked clean and well maintained. I was even surprised to see a bidet.

If you are around Seoul Jung-gu, Seoul City Hall Station, Gwanghwamun, or Bukchang-dong and want a coffee or drink topped with sweet ice cream, I highly recommend Pureupapa. The value felt excellent.
