New Balance 1906R Silver Review: 220 Size and Comfort Tips

Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I brought a sizing recommendation and wear review for the popular New Balance 1906R Silver Metallic Sea Salt, model M1906REE. This is an honest review after wearing them for walks and exercise over several days.

I bought mine from KREAM. On the official site, every size was sold out at the time. The price was 179,000 KRW, and sizes ranged from 220 to 300, so even larger feet could wear them.

The silver color is so shiny and pretty. I do not usually crave sneakers much, so this may be my first pair in about two years, but I still think I bought them well. The overall base is silver, the laces are a slightly yellow cream color, and the green accents here and there make them even prettier. The side logo detail shows the laces crossing through it, and that detail is what made me buy them. The design is really good.

Size tip: I would choose true size or maybe half a size down. My feet are around 220 to 225, and the 220 fit roomy. The material stretches well to the foot, but it still felt spacious. Even my mom, who wears 230 to 235, tried them after adjusting the laces and said they were okay. There was no 215 size, so I could not go down half a size, but if your feet are narrow or low-volume, I recommend going half a size down.

They match gray sweatpants perfectly. These days they have almost become my uniform item. I liked the shape when wide pants covered part of the shoe.

This was during a walk by the Han River. For me, the width felt roomy, and the sole was cushioned enough that my feet did not hurt at all even after walking a lot. It was even the first day I wore them after delivery.

There are many cute logo details, and when the silver catches the sunlight it has a different kind of pretty look. It matched the green grass really well.

That day I was into green, so I added green accents in several places. Green is my favorite color, which made me like the shoes even more.

Power walking is totally possible. They are said to be retro running shoes made for light running, and I found myself reaching for them often when exercising, so that made sense.
