Naengcheolhan Samgyeop Beomgye Frozen Pork Belly Review
A Beomgye Station review of Naengcheolhan Samgyeop, covering frozen pork belly, kimchi jjageuli, steamed egg, basic doenjang jjigae, retro pocha mood, self bar, and the source-mentioned early-visit free serving event.
Hello, this is Izzingne. Today I went to Beomgye for frozen pork belly. There are quite a few frozen pork belly places, but I heard Naengcheolhan Samgyeop was a good Beomgye Station restaurant, so I chose it right away. The mood was just right for frozen pork belly, with a spicy, retro pocha feeling.

From Beomgye Station Exit 2, it is close enough to reach in about five to ten minutes on foot. Looking at the location, it also seemed close to Pyeongchon Station. It is right behind the main street, so it should be easy to find.

The post says that if you visit before 6 p.m., one serving of frozen pork belly is free. I went as a second stop and did not know about it. If you see this, try going before 6 p.m. as your first stop.
Order: two servings of Naengcheolhan Samgyeop, kimchi jjageuli, and steamed egg.
I was already a little full, so I started with just two servings of frozen pork belly. Since doenjang jjigae came as a basic item, I also ordered kimchi jjageuli for something spicy and a fluffy steamed egg.

The place had plenty of pocha atmosphere, and the chairs had backs instead of being uncomfortable stools. The lighting was pretty too, so Naengcheolhan Samgyeop also had a good mood.

They set up the basic side dishes and brought the frozen pork belly sliced right away.

The bottle opener and cups were in a cute Terra box. Pepper, which is essential for frozen pork belly, was inside too. Cold soju also came out, and the blue-toned soju glasses made it feel even colder.

The kimchi jjageuli and doenjang jjigae came boiling deeply in earthenware bowls. They tasted like the kind of food you might have at a grandmother's house. There were plenty of ingredients, and the hot soup felt like it was curing the drinks from the first stop.

The steamed egg was especially impressive. It was not watery like egg soup, and it was not overcooked or dry. It had a very soft texture. Even though I was full, I kept eating it.

We placed the frozen pork belly one slice at a time on the foil-lined grill and cooked it until golden. Thick pork belly is good too, but thin frozen pork belly has its own charm. Eating it with grilled kimchi is a combination that cannot taste bad.

It was convenient that extra side dishes could be taken from the self bar as needed. The self bar was also very clean. The myeonginamul and green onion salad were my favorites.

I agree that this is a good Anyang pork belly spot. For me, frozen pork belly works even better as a soju snack than thick pork belly. If you are looking for frozen pork belly in Beomgye, try Naengcheolhan Samgyeop Beomgye branch.
