Cafe Link in Myeonghak: Scones, Beanbags, and Group Seats
A personal visit to Cafe Link near Myeonghak Station, a two-floor Anyang cafe known for large scones, cold brew, outlets for light work, group seating, and sunny beanbags.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. From the morning I was craving a sweet dessert, and I also had some work left to do. While looking for a cafe near home, I heard there was a place near Anyang Art Center that was good at scones, so I packed up and went.

Cafe Link is about five minutes on foot from Myeonghak Station. Once you get off at the station and head out to the main road, you can see it. I got off the bus and only had to cross the street, so it was right there. The cafe has up to a second floor and sits on a large road, so it was easy to find.

Business hours are 10:00-20:30, with Sundays closed. The first floor is a simple hall where you can have coffee, and the second floor has group seating for gatherings plus beanbags in a sunny spot, so you can comfortably lie down, read, or rest.

Cold brew, decaf Cold brew, caffeinated Clotted cream scone Yuja butter scone
We ordered two scones so each person could have one. I wanted an Americano, but today I wanted something cleaner, so I ordered cold brew. Since I had a slight headache, mine was decaf.

The kiosk made ordering easy. The first-floor hall felt clean and well organized. There were outlets on both walls too, so it looked good for doing a bit of work.

Cafe Link says it uses carefully selected, top-grade coffee beans and serves specialty coffee. Maybe that is why it tasted nuttier and better. There was also a thoughtful baby chair on one side of the first floor, which would be convenient for guests visiting with a baby.

These are the stairs leading up to the second floor. The deep navy color was so pretty that I took a photo. I think navy is Cafe Link's point color. When I visited, the group seats were already in use, so I could not take pictures, but there was a group area inside a full glass partition. It looked nice for chatting without feeling self-conscious.

I have seen idea boxes often at restaurants, but this was my first time seeing one in a cafe. It seemed like a good system. There were blankets for when it gets cold. I was sitting under the air conditioner and felt chilly, so I used one right away. They also sell cold brew concentrate.

The menu we ordered came out. The scones were huge, much bigger than an adult man's fist. As soon as I received them, I thought one scone per person might be hard, but honestly that was a good thing.

They marked the decaf clearly with a post-it so it was easy to tell apart.

The yuja tasted even fresher when eaten with butter. The clotted cream and raspberry combination was really something. I think I will come back to pack this one next time. The clotted cream scone was my top pick. The dry texture that is typical of scones was just right, and it was very nutty. On days when I crave scones, this is the place.

After eating well and doing some work, I lay down on a beanbag and zoned out. It was so comfortable, cool, and drowsy that I almost fell asleep.

If you need a rest, need to work on a laptop, or are looking for a place to gather, visit Cafe Link, the Myeonghak cafe with good scones. Make a note to try the clotted cream scone. #AnyangScones #AnyangSconeSpot #MyeonghakStationCafe #MyeonghakCafe #AnyangArtCenterCafe #MyeonghakCafeRecommendation #AnyangDessertCafe #MyeonghakDessertCafe #MyeonghakScones
