Mania Street Lounge Near Sinnonhyeon: Cocktail Bar Review
A Sinnonhyeon lounge bar review of Mania Street Lounge, covering the basement mood, cocktails, outside food policy, basic snacks, games, music, and birthday cake-friendly visit.
Hi, this is Izzingne. I heard there was a very hip lounge bar near Sinnonhyeon Station, so I went to check it out. Even the entrance already felt stylish.

It is about a five-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station Exit 1 or 2, so it is very close. Business hours are 20:00 to 02:00, and it is closed every Sunday.

Follow the large red sign inside and you will see the stairs going down to the basement. The scent of incense floated up, and although it felt a little eerie, it had a cool mood, almost like Hongdae.

I liked it as soon as I walked in. The mood was so good. The dark interior with different lights made the whole space pretty, and I finally found a cocktail bar that really fit my taste.

The menu was organized on one page. For food, there was one jerky snack, and outside food was allowed. Everything else was alcohol. The cocktails included alcohol strength and satisfaction markers, which made choosing easier.

Pretzels came as the basic snack. They were not too salty or sweet, so I kept reaching for them. The restroom was also inside the venue, which was convenient. It was a little small, but it had what was needed and it was easy to wash hands.

While waiting after ordering, I looked around. It was hard to find a corner that did not show the owner's touch, with many different props and pretty decorations, so browsing the space was fun.

Margarita and absinthe.
I like refreshing cocktails, so my first drink was a margarita. My friend ordered absinthe, which they enjoy drinking, and asked for it on the rocks.

While waiting for the drinks, we played a round of the pirate roulette game next to us. We played twice, and I got caught both times. Having a simple game made the waiting time fun.

It felt like a neighborhood hideout in Sinnonhyeon, perfect for a simple cocktail. The music was good too. Around 9 p.m., people started filling the space, and even on a weekday it became full. If we had arrived later, we might not have gotten in.

The reason I found this place was that outside food is allowed. I brought a cake for a friend's birthday, so if you are planning a birthday too, it would be comfortable as a second stop where you can enjoy cocktails with cake.
They also brought the mixed cocktail and glass to the table and poured it carefully. Usually you only get to see that when sitting at the bar, so I liked that table guests could enjoy it too.

For the second drink, I could not decide, so I asked the owner for a recommendation. After I briefly explained my taste, they understood quickly and made one right away. It turned out even better than the first margarita and matched my palate perfectly. It was a Cuban drink called a daiquiri, served with a slice of lime, and it was so refreshing and delicious. I will definitely come back.
