Laser Arena Beomgye Station: Indoor Date Games in Anyang
A personal review of Laser Arena near Beomgye Station Exit 2 in Anyang, with survival games, grid, climb, opening hours, and nearby parking tips.

Hello! Today I visited Laser Arena, which felt perfect as a date spot around Beomgye Station. It is an unusual indoor date course that can be fun with family, friends, or a partner. There were several games available, including a survival gun game, a grid footpad game, and a climbing game, so it almost felt like visiting a mini amusement park.

The location is just a 1-minute walk from Anyang Beomgye Station Exit 2. When the elevator opens on the 5th floor of the building, Laser Arena appears right away. The atmosphere was impressive, and because it had not been open for long, everything felt very clean and comfortable. The facilities also seemed new, so the experience felt neat and pleasant. 📍 Opening hours 13:00–22:00 Saturday and Sunday: 11:00–22:00 📍 Parking For parking, the reviewer recommends using nearby public parking. The Beomgye Station street public parking lot or Koa Parking Building were mentioned as convenient options.

Laser Arena one-person package
Since I had already made the trip, I wanted to try a bit of everything, so I used the package. The package included 2 survival games, 1 grid game, and 1 climb game. Many people seem to come mainly for the survival game, but I recommend trying the grid and climb games through the package as well. More than anything, the package felt like great value. 👍

I paid at the kiosk and stored my belongings in a locker. The locker was roomy enough to hold an outer jacket. You can experience the games while wearing your own shoes, but if you are wearing uncomfortable shoes, indoor shoes are also prepared. That made it easy to visit comfortably. It rained on the day I went, so I arrived in rain boots, and they gave me separate shoes to use, which made the experience much more comfortable.

I arrived a little early to take photos, so I was the first customer. They told me the survival game is more fun when there are other people, so they suggested I try the grid game first. It was the footpad-stepping game I had seen a lot on Instagram. There were various difficulty levels and modes. Since it was my first time, I started with basic mode level 3. It was not just about stepping on the footpads that matched the colors. I also had to touch the wall that matched the color, so it was pretty difficult. It looked easy, but it really was not that simple. Before starting, I thought, “How hard could it be?” But afterward, I was covered in sweat. Haha.

After excitedly stepping through one round of the grid game, I sat in the lobby to cool down a bit. Even though it was the middle of winter, a fan felt necessary. When I came out after finishing the grid game, there were other guests who had arrived for survival. The owner suggested that we try the survival game now, so we headed to the survival zone together.

When you tell them the nickname you want to use for survival, they set it up in the game in advance. Once inside, the goal is to shoot a lot and earn points to win. Team matches are possible too, but for the first round, we started with an individual match.

You choose and wear the numbered vest that matches your nickname number, then tighten it so it fits your body well.

Using the gun was really simple. There was no need to reload; you just had to hit the glowing parts on the vest. There were also laser targets on the back. It felt like hitting the back may have scored more points. The owner explained everything clearly and in an easy-to-understand way, and it seemed simple enough for children to use too.

This is what the inside looked like. It appears a little bright in the photo, but in real life it was quite dark, and there was even a slightly eerie smoke effect. There were slopes and many little places to hide, which made it fun. Once I went inside, I even forgot where the entrance had been. I had a great time running around and shooting. I ended up competing against a child I had never met, and I guess I am still a kid at heart because I tried really hard to win.

From this side, you can watch the people currently playing. Thinking that other people had watched me was kind of funny, but it was still so much fun. After one round, we took a short break and started the next game. This time, another new guest arrived, so six of us played together, and we did a bomb-passing game. The person who became the bomb had to shoot someone else to keep passing the bomb along. When the game ended, the person holding the bomb got -1,000 points. This mode was fun too. After the first round, I realized I was not very good, so I tried to hide well so the bomb would not find me. Maybe the strategy worked, because I finished in 3rd place.

Next was climb. Like the grid game, this is also a game where you identify colors and press the right target. The difference is that you do it while hanging onto a wall instead of stepping with your feet. Of course, if you fall down, you lose points. I started from a low difficulty level, but as the level went up, it became more fun and more tiring. I sweated even more than I did during the grid game. This felt like a real workout. 😆

I wanted to try action racing too, but I did not have time. It is a game where you make shapes with your body and pass through obstacles coming toward you on the screen. That also looked fun.

There are soft mats underneath, so it looked safer in case you fall. It is a cooperative game for two people to play together, and I think it would be really funny while playing with a friend. It seems perfect as a Beomgye Station date course. I want to come back and try this one next time.

I honestly did not have huge expectations for Laser Arena, but even as an adult, I had so much fun. There were many children, but also many people in their 20s and 30s, and quite a few visitors came as families. It is good as a date course near Beomgye Station, but I would also recommend it as a place to visit in Anyang with family.
What I liked most was that I could feel the owner trying to set up the survival games in a smart way so everyone could enjoy them as much as possible. The first round was an individual match as a warm-up, and the second round was the fun bomb-passing game. By changing the game type and number of players like that, the experience became even more enjoyable. I recommend trying at least two rounds of survival, and the other games are fun too, so try each one if you can. I am definitely planning to go again. . . . #BeomgyeStationThingsToDo #BeomgyeStationDate #AnyangPlacesToVisit #BeomgyeDateCourse #BeomgyeActivities #AnyangActivities #BeomgyeIndoorDate #AnyangIndoorDate #BeomgyeSurvivalGame #BeomgyeGameRoom #AnyangGameRoom #AnyangCoupleGame #BeomgyeCoupleGame #BeomgyeActivity
