Indeogwon Cheonokjip 24-Hour Gamjatang and Haejangguk
A hearty visit to Cheonokjip near Indeogwon for bone haejangguk, beef tripe soup, and crispy fried shrimp. The source notes 24-hour year-round service, takeout, local currency, and easy public parking.

Hi, this is Izzingne. Because it was the weekend, I did not feel like cooking, and I was craving a hot bowl of haejangguk, so I visited Cheonokjip in Indeogwon.

Cheonokjip is open 24 hours and year-round. It is an Indeogwon restaurant that is open whenever you go. All menu items can be packed for takeout, and the restaurant accepts local currency. There is a public parking lot right in front, so parking is convenient. I parked there too, and after eating at a relaxed pace, the parking fee was still under KRW 2,000.

Bone haejangguk Beef tripe soup Fried shrimp
I ordered bone haejangguk, my dad ordered beef tripe soup, and because we were pretty hungry, we added fried shrimp on the side.

After we ordered, they set out the side dishes. They brought a bone bowl for the bone haejangguk and a small plate for the beef tripe soup, which felt thoughtful. Also, Cheonokjip has tasty poggi kimchi and kkakdugi. For a gukbap-style soup place, good kimchi really makes you want to come back.

If you need more side dishes, you can bring them from the self-service bar. Everything had lids on it, and the tongs were neatly arranged.

The bone haejangguk and beef tripe soup came out boiling hot. They looked so good right away, and the food arrived quickly. I think it came out within about 10 minutes after ordering.

The beef tripe soup had a deep, spicy red broth. It was packed with plenty of solid ingredients. There was no off smell, maybe because it had been simmered well, and there were several kinds of tripe, so it felt very generous.
It looks bubbling hot and spicy, right? With this amount, it is plenty for one full meal.

As I ate, I noticed that the bone haejangguk had three big bones with plenty of meat attached. It was a lot for me, so I gave one to my dad. Most bone haejangguk comes with about two bones, but Cheonokjip had three large ones. The meat also came off the bone easily, which makes bone haejangguk much more comfortable to eat. I had been eating mostly boneless dishes lately, so holding the bone and eating it this way made it feel even better. Sometimes you just crave the fun of eating bone haejangguk.

The fried shrimp we ordered as a side took a little longer to fry, so it came about five minutes after the haejangguk. I grabbed one right away and was surprised because it was so hot. Let the fried shrimp cool slightly before eating. The outside was crispy and the inside was moist.

We dipped it well in the chili sauce that came with it. The shrimp inside were plump, and the portion was big enough for two people, so we left completely full.

A large sign said the soup is made with 100% fresh domestic pork bones, so it felt trustworthy. If you are looking for a haejangguk spot near Indeogwon, I recommend Cheonokjip. Since it is open 24 hours, you can visit anytime for a meal, and the owner had a warm, friendly feel. Thanks to that, we had a pleasant meal. Next time, I want to try the gamjatang with fried rice. After tasting the bone haejangguk, I have a feeling the gamjatang will be seriously good too. #IndeogwonGamjatang #IndeogwonRestaurant #AnyangSoup #AnyangHaejangguk #AnyangBoneHaejangguk #Anyang24HourRestaurant
