Hari Beauty & Brow Hard Waxing Review in Hogye-dong
A Hogye-dong Hari Beauty & Brow hard waxing review with Naver reservation notes, hygiene details, shower booth, disposable items, timing, and sugaring comparison.

Hi, this is Ijjingne. My waxing cycle came back around, so I visited Hogye-dong for waxing. After my first sugaring waxing review last time, this time it is a hard waxing review.

The location is in the rear commercial area of Hogye-dong Irvine 2nd complex. It is operated by 100% reservation, so I also booked through Naver Reservation before visiting. After my first waxing, I wondered whether I would do a second one, but I ended up needing it. Many reviews say there is no going back after the first time, and I think that happened to me too. This time I wanted to try hard waxing, so I visited Hari Beauty, known for Beomgye waxing.

Inside the shop, there was a place to wash your hands and a space where you could tidy up a little, so it was convenient when leaving after waxing.

There were many types of tea bags and some snacks prepared. I washed and dried my hands at the hand-washing area before going in.

After changing, I stored my belongings in the cabinet.

There was a disposable skirt. Wear it with the open side in the right direction. They also thoughtfully prepared feminine products for people who need them, along with a soft doll to help reduce the pain a little.

Since I visited after work, I wanted to shower before waxing, and there was a separate shower booth. Inside, there were needed products such as cleanser and body wash.

The towels were hygienic disposable towels. One part I especially liked at Hari Beauty was the shiny faucet. There was not a single small water stain, and the faucet was gleaming. I was touched before starting because the shower booth, a place many people use, was managed so cleanly.

The waxing took about 15 to 20 minutes. Compared with the first time, it finished very quickly. Sugaring took about 40 minutes and felt a little long, but hard waxing ended quickly, which I liked. After trying hard waxing this time, I decided to settle on hard waxing over sugaring. Maybe it was because of Director Hari's skill, but I felt only about half the pain I felt during my first waxing, and it did not hurt much. The first time hurt enough to bring tears, but this time I could lie still and use my phone. It felt surprisingly different.
The source says people with thicker hair may find hard waxing, which removes along the hair direction, a better fit than sugaring, which removes against the direction. The owner kindly explained that everyone feels things differently, so it is best to experience both and settle on what suits you.

At the end, they applied a pack to help calm swelling in the irritated area and provided soothing care. Many waxing shops finish immediately after the procedure, but here they paid attention to calming the skin too.

I would revisit 100%. Director Hari was very kind and answered the questions I had clearly. For someone who found sugaring very painful, hard waxing here felt like a major relief. I strongly recommend it for Beomgye waxing.
