Rangdeja Vu Cafe Near Geumjeong Station AK Plaza
A review of Rangdeja Vu at Geumjeong Station AK Plaza, a Jeju-style dessert cafe with photo zones, terrace seating, Hallabong drinks and cake, a signature vanilla cream coffee, and salt bread.
Today I visited Rangdeja Vu at Geumjeong Station AK Plaza, a cafe known for its Jeju-style mood. It is also known for its mirror selfie photo zone. I had visited other branches a few times, but this was my first time at the Geumjeong branch.

I went in the morning to do some work and drink coffee, so there were plenty of seats. It looked like they also open the terrace seating outside. Drinking coffee outside in cool weather would be so nice.

The photo zone was as pretty as expected. The gravel and stone wall gave it a Jeju feeling, the lighting was beautiful, and I liked that they had a bouquet ready as a photo prop.

It was very spacious. It was clearly indoors, but the floor design made it feel like being outside. There was also a baby chair, and it looked like they had paid attention to details throughout the space.

The sound of stepping on the wood-chip-like floor was strangely addictive, so I kept rustling around.

Rangdeja Vu. Hallabong blended drink. Hallabong black tea cake. Salt bread.
I had not eaten breakfast, so I ordered bread and cake too. If you parked in the AK Plaza parking lot, the source notes that there is a two-hour discount.

I liked that there were many kinds of bread, croffles, and cakes. Everything looked good, so it took me a while to choose.

After a short wait, the menu items I ordered came out. Since Rangdeja Vu is a signature menu, it came with a dedicated bottle and an ice glass. The Hallabong blended drink looked pretty too. Maybe because it was blended with ice, it had a chewable texture, so I kept eating it bit by bit. I planned to drink it slowly, but failed and almost finished it in one go.

The Hallabong black tea cake combined Hallabong mousse with Earl Grey cream. It was very soft and refreshing. I had been craving something bright from the morning, so I ended up ordering two Hallabong items.

The signature Rangdeja Vu drink had a vanilla cream base with coffee, and it tasted like a light vanilla latte. It was less sweet and lighter in aroma than the vanilla lattes I usually drink, which suited me because I do not really like overly sweet drinks.

Because I finished the cake so quickly, I added a salt bread order. You can see the layers tearing apart. They warmed it up, so it was moist and chewy. The bottom was very crisp, and maybe because it had a lot of butter inside, the buttery aroma came through strongly. It was nutty and delicious, and I barely held back from ordering one more.

I was very satisfied with Cafe Rangdeja Vu. Access from Geumjeong Station was excellent, about one minute after getting off at the station. Parking is available, the interior is large, and the staff were kind, so I could work comfortably and chat before leaving.
If you have plans in Geumjeong or want a cup of coffee while looking around AK Plaza, I highly recommend Rangdeja Vu. #SanbonCafe #GeumjeongStationCafe #SanbonDessert #SanbonDessertCafe #GeumjeongStationDessert #GeumjeongCafe #PhotoZoneCafe #SanbonMarketCafe #GunpoLargeCafe #GunpoCafeRecommendation #GunpoCafe
