Guiin Yukhoe Pyeongchon: Terrace Raw Beef Restaurant Review
A visit to Guiin Yukhoe in Pyeongchon Food Alley near Pyeongchon Hagwon-ga, featuring terrace seating, a yukhoe and yuksashimi set, Hanwoo spicy ramyeon, and practical details on hours, closing day, and parking.
Hello! Today I visited Guiin Yukhoe, located in Pyeongchon Food Alley near Pyeongchon Hagwon-ga. I had been looking forward to this place even before going. They sell yukhoe and yuksashimi as a set, so I was excited to have fresh yukhoe again after a while. 😊

It is tucked slightly inside an alley off the main street of Pyeongchon Hagwon-ga. Since this is Pyeongchon Food Alley, the little side streets are known for having lots of good places to eat. Hours: 11:00–01:00 Break time: 14:00–16:00 Last order: 00:00 Closed every Tuesday :) Parking: 1 hour of free parking is available at the parking tower in front of the restaurant.

As I passed the entrance, the terrace seating looked so pretty! I love outdoor “yajang” seating, and since the weather was cool and I was dressed warmly, I went straight for a terrace table. There was also a menu board with food photos right in front of the restaurant, so it looked like the kind of place you might walk into just because the pictures look good.

Inside, the restaurant had a warm, woody interior. It was spacious, and tablet ordering made it convenient. Another detail I liked was that there was a separate hand-washing area near the entrance, so you did not have to go all the way to the restroom just to wash your hands. They had liquid soap, hand cream, and paper towels ready too. That little touch really won me over.

The outdoor terrace even had soft string lights. The tables were wide too, so even after two of us ordered a set menu plus a side dish, we still had plenty of space.

Right after ordering, they brought out beef soup and a salad with a strong basil-like aroma. At yukhoe restaurants, beef radish soup often comes out, but the beef soup at Guiin Yukhoe felt different. Usually the meat in the soup can be a little tough, so I tend to just sip the broth while eating yukhoe. Here, the beef in the soup was really tender. It practically melted away in my mouth. You have to try it. The broth was rich too.

The salad also had a deeper herb aroma, maybe basil or parsley, compared with the salad I usually know. I like both, so it was totally my style. For beer, we had cold Red Rock beer. How are you supposed to resist drinking when you are sitting outside like this?

The lighting was nice, so the photos came out well too.

What can you even do with visuals like this? It was hard to wait even for a moment while taking photos. It came with black sesame sauce, a salt-and-oil dipping sauce, a unique garlic sauce, wasabi, seaweed, and egg yolk. Radish sprouts, Korean pear, and white kimchi were also served so you could wrap and eat everything together.

Even from the photos, it looks so good, right? You could feel how fresh it was, and I ate it with real satisfaction. If you ask for more sauces or vegetables to eat with it, they bring them right away.

The yuksashimi was amazing when wrapped in seaweed with wasabi and garlic sauce on top. Because there were so many sauces and vegetables, I tried different combinations, wrapping and dipping as I ate. Every single combination tasted good.

After eating only raw beef for a while, it felt like I needed something extra. I was debating which side dish to get, then noticed a side menu item called Hanwoo Spicy Ramyeon, so I ordered one. There were several side dishes, but after thinking it over, I chose ramyeon.

The broth was very rich and tasty. The noodles were firm, and with bean sprouts and Hanwoo beef, it felt like a deluxe ramyeon. It completely cleared the richness from eating raw meat. The spicy, hearty flavor was the best.

While eating, I started craving the warm beef soup again, so I asked for one refill. It came out piping hot, with plenty of pieces of beef inside. I enjoyed the meal so much that I want to come back again. The staff were kind, and both the yukhoe and yuksashimi were delicious. Definitely a place I would revisit. #AnyangYukhoe #AnyangHotPlace #AnyangBar #PyeongchonBar #PyeongchonDate #PyeongchonRestaurants #AnyangRestaurants #PyeongchonYukhoe #PyeongchonYuksashimi #PyeongchonAnju #PyeongchonBarRecommendation #PyeongchonFoodAlley #PyeongchonEatingAlley #PyeongchonHagwonGaRestaurants
