Selectednix Gangnam Cafe Review for Laptops and Tiramisu

Hello, this is Ijjingne. Today I planned to meet a friend at Gangnam Station. Before eating, I looked for a cafe and found Selectednix in Gangnam. It is a large cafe, which is not easy to find around Gangnam Station. I had brought a book that day and was looking for a cafe good for reading. The table spacing was wide and there were lots of seats on each floor, so I chose this cafe.

You can use B1, 1F, 2F, 3F, 8F, and the rooftop. The middle floors are not part of the cafe.

The location is close to Gangnam Station exits 3 and 4, about a 5-minute walk. If you visit through the rear entrance, there is separate parking guidance inside, so people coming by car can park more comfortably. Hours: 08:00-24:00. Saturday and Sunday: 11:00-24:00.

The floor guide was posted in the elevator. It showed how many seats were on each floor, restroom information, and more, so you could choose a floor before going up. Floors 1 to 3 can be reached by stairs, and you need to use the elevator to go to the 8th-floor rooftop.

B1 and the 8th floor can also be rented if you reserve them separately, so that may be useful for people who need a space.

When you come out of the cafe area, there are stairs on the left. You can go up to the 2nd and 3rd floors that way. If you take the elevator to the 8th floor, there is a space that is almost library-level quiet. Many people were working with laptops or reading books. Since no one was really talking, it felt like a space made for cafe study people.

Pistachio tiramisu, cafe latte, and berry ade.

I also came because Selectednix is known as a tiramisu place. I do not really like bananas, so I chose the pistachio tiramisu, which I had not seen before.

Maybe because I visited on a weekend, quite a lot of seats were full. I sat on the 2nd floor, and each seat had access to an outlet. When working on a laptop in a cafe, it can be hard to find a seat with an outlet, so I really liked that detail.

The drinks came out faster than expected. The seat I chose had a partition next to it, so it felt cozy. Each seat also had artwork nearby, which was fun to look at.

Pistachio tiramisu. The cake was very moist and not too sweet. I had worried it might be too sweet, but it was pleasantly sweet, and the chocolate chips on top added a slightly bitter bite that made it tastier.

Whole pistachios were on top, and there were quite a lot of chocolate chips. The bitter taste when biting the chocolate chips went well with it. I also loved that the cake was moist and soft.

The latte was nutty and good. The berry ade was not really my style, but my friend enjoyed it, so people who like berry drinks may like it.

You could tell the place was decorated carefully in every corner. Large cafes like this are rare around Gangnam Station, so I was happy to find it. Next time I want to try the original tiramisu too.
