Doobit Salon Sanbon Branch 1: Brown Full Color Review
A personal review of Doobit Salon (두빗살롱) 1st Branch in Sanbon, where Hayan handled a ton-down deep brown full hair color from consultation to final blow-dry, with hours, parking, Naver booking notes, and salon amenities.
Hello! The weather has been getting colder and clothes are getting thicker, so to welcome the fall season I went in for a tone-down hair color. At Doobit Salon (두빗살롱) 1st Branch in Sanbon, Team Manager Hayan took care of everything from the consultation to the final blow-dry. It had been a while since I last did a full hair color, and the two-hour visit honestly felt almost like a relaxing healing break. :)
We went with a tone-down color in a matte, deep brown shade. It felt like such a perfect color for autumn that I was already excited during the consultation. The photos were taken right after the coloring, so the result looks a little dark. Hayan explained that after about a week, once the color faded slightly, it would become the exact shade I wanted. At the time of writing, about five days had passed, and the color had softened into a warm brown. 🤎

Doobit Salon has a 1st Branch and 2nd Branch in Sanbon, and there is also a Beomgye branch. Doobit Salon 1st Branch is located on the 4th floor of the building opposite Olive Young on Sanbon Rodeo Street. Opening hours: 10:00–20:00 Sunday: 10:00–19:00 For parking, the Sanbon Rodeo public parking lot is convenient. It is nice to book through Naver before visiting because you can go in without waiting.

The prepaid voucher event seemed to have good benefits. They also had separate event details organized for each designer, so it looked like customers could receive services from the designer they want at a better price.

I really like places that display prices this transparently. Among Sanbon hair salons, you can compare costs before going, and it is helpful for customers because the information is available before calling or visiting for a consultation. I chose to proceed with a full hair color.

First, I carefully filled out the first-visit chart. After that, I just waited in the waiting area for the stylist.

Since I was planning to dye my hair, they brought me a color book in advance. Such a thoughtful touch. 👍 While I was looking at the shades I wanted, Team Manager Hayan came over and carefully checked the condition of my hair and how the previous color had faded. She gave a detailed consultation and recommended a color that matched exactly the feeling I wanted. I said yes right away and we started. Haha.

This is the before photo. About a year earlier, I had dyed my hair a dark deep gray, but the color had faded a lot and turned reddish in patches. It looked even more obvious in sunlight.

They did a test first. Before starting the full color, they checked whether my hair would take the product well and whether the color would come out properly. Fortunately, the color showed up well, so after the test we were able to continue with the shade we had first chosen.

Doobit Salon offers a wide range of drinks. They also provide yogurt or a bagel set. Since coloring or perm services can take around two to three hours, it seemed like they prepare snacks for customers during the wait.

I chose an iced Americano and a bagel. The bagel came with cream cheese, and they even toasted it warm before bringing it over. >< It happened to be around dinner time, so I was a little hungry, and eating the bagel made the waiting time pass quickly. Most importantly, it was tasty. I meant to ask where the bagel was from, but I got distracted and forgot. If you visit Doobit Salon, you should try the bagel. It is funny that I am writing a hair salon review telling people to eat the bagel, but anyway, it was good! Haha.

There were also lots of snacks set out on the table, including candy and jelly. They said they prepared them in case customers got hungry. The owner is honestly the best.

After confirming that the test result came out well, we started the full hair color right away. When applying the dye all over, two people worked together and applied it quickly. If the application takes too long, the color can turn out unevenly, so I felt reassured that two staff members worked on it quickly.

After waiting, I moved to the shampoo room. They rinsed out the product there, applied product one more time so the color could come out better, and I waited about 5 to 10 minutes. The air conditioning reached the shampoo room well, and I was feeling a bit cold. Somehow Hayan noticed and brought me a blanket. She is seriously thoughtful. ❤

After everything was finished, while drying my hair, she asked if I had plans. I said I did, so she styled my hair properly with a blow-dry too. On the day you get your hair done, the rule is that you should make plans even if you did not already have any. It feels too sad to go straight home with pretty hair. She liked the color even more than I did and said it came out really well. I agreed. The hair color was truly perfect for autumn.

Hayan’s coloring skills were excellent, but her blow-dry was also amazing. Because my hair already had a layered cut, she added big, soft waves in a glamorous style. The hair color and the waves looked so good together. From now on, even if I feel lazy, I think I should curl my hair more often.
This is the kind of result you need to see on video. The color looks a little different again under lighting. 😊

From the consultation to the finish, Team Manager Hayan at Doobit Salon 1st Branch was excellent. 🤎 If you are looking for a hair salon in Sanbon, try Doobit Salon with Hayan. Actually, maybe I want to keep going by myself, so please do not get too famous. This review was written with sponsorship support, but I really, really recommend Doobit Salon based on this visit. #SanbonHairSalon #SanbonStationHairSalon #SanbonHairColor #SanbonLayeredCut #SanbonPermRecommendation #SanbonHairSalonRecommendation #SanbonHairColorRecommendation #SanbonBrownHairColor #FallHairColor #SanbonHaircut
