A personal DIY review on turning regular Crocs into warm winter Crocs with removable fleece liners bought on Naver Smart Store, including sizing, lint-removal, and strap tips.

Hello! Today I’m sharing the little winter DIY I do every year: making fleece-lined Crocs at home. I use Crocs a lot, but in winter the holes make my feet feel so cold. I considered buying a separate pair of winter fleece Crocs, but then I found out that you can buy just the inner liners. After trying them, this became my regular winter setup.

First, buy the Crocs inner liners. I bought mine on Naver Smart Store. The price range was about 6,000 to 9,000 KRW. They look a little strange at first, but they really are warm.

This was the shop I bought from, and it was not an ad. I ordered there because it was the cheapest option I found. Delivery was also extremely fast; I ordered in the morning, and I think it arrived the next day. Tip: buy the liner size that matches your Crocs size. Another tip before inserting the liner: the fleece sheds a bit. If you do not want to wear white socks and end up looking like a zebra, go over the liners once with a lint roller before wearing them. If you do it carefully once, the fleece does not keep coming off afterward. This is a tip from someone who has used these liners many times.

Once the Crocs liners arrive, use a lint roller on them first. Then take apart the Crocs strap. You just need to pop the strap off. After removing the strap and putting the liner inside, you will see a buttonhole-like opening where the strap attaches. Put the Crocs button through that opening, then reattach the strap you removed. That’s it. It is super, super simple. The only hard part is putting the strap back on. The hole is small and very stiff, so I had to wrestle with it a bit. One small tip: instead of trying to push the strap straight in, pull it lengthwise as you fit it in. That makes it a little easier.

Ta-da! Regular Crocs have become fleece Crocs. Because the liners are removable, you can wear them for a while, wash them, and wear them again. When winter is over, I remove them and throw them away. You could wash and store them for the next winter, but since they are fairly inexpensive and I already wore them well for the season, I usually let them go.

I usually wear my Crocs with the strap toward the front, so they look really cute this way. If you wear the strap around the heel, the look might not be as pretty. Still, I’m satisfied because my feet stay warm while wearing Crocs.

Instead of buying expensive winter fleece Crocs separately, I recommend trying removable liners. You cannot really clean winter fleece Crocs easily, but with this method, the liner can be removed and washed. It feels budget-friendly, more hygienic, and honestly the best option for me.
