Curry Gongbang Hogye Lunch Review Near Hogye Old Intersection

A new curry restaurant opened near my home at Hogye Old Intersection, so I visited.

It is right next to Black Bean Cafe at Hogye Old Intersection. The hours are 11:00 to 21:00, which makes it easy to visit for lunch. I went because I wanted curry at lunchtime.

Order list: homemade hamburger steak omelet curry and homemade cheese pork cutlet curry.

We ordered those two dishes. The hamburger steak omelet curry seemed like the main item.

Inside, there were table seats and counter seats. It was an open kitchen, so you could see the cooking from the table.

Side dishes were available at the self-service bar. Soup was not served at first, but I found jangguk soup at the self-service bar and brought some over.

This was the homemade hamburger steak omelet curry. It combined thick fried hamburger steak, omelet, and curry, and it was very good. It was my mom order, but I kept taking bites.

This was the cheese pork cutlet curry. The cheese flowed out from inside, and it looked delicious. Curry and fried food really do go well together.

It made a pretty full meal. The portion was not small, and the curry tasted good. It had the Japanese curry style that I like.

The one disappointing point was the rice. It was undercooked, with some hard parts, so both my mom and I left some rice. I hope the rice is better next time. The curry itself was tasty enough that I still want to return.
