Code Golf Sanbon One-Point Golf Lesson Review
A first-hand review of a one-point golf lesson at the newly opened Code Golf near Sanbon Station, covering access, hours, parking, lockers, hitting bays, and swing feedback.

Hello! It has been a while since my last golf post. I have been neglecting golf lately, and my swing feel was not great. My accuracy had dropped, and I felt like I could not concentrate well, so I booked a one-point lesson at the newly opened Code Golf near Sanbon Station and visited.

It is in the CGV building right in front of Sanbon Station. Since it is right next to the station, access is convenient. As soon as you get off the elevator, it is directly in front of you, so you do not really need to search for it. 📍 Hours: 06:00–23:00 Saturday and Sunday: 09:00–18:00 📍 Parking is available in the building basement, and they give you a generous amount of time. For a golf practice range, parking is important because many people come with a caddie bag, so I really liked this point.

It is a very new practice range that has not been open for long. There are various opening-event options, so I recommend visiting while they are still celebrating the opening.

The lockers are clean and spacious. I also usually leave my caddie bag at the practice range, and these lockers looked neat with secure locks, so I would feel comfortable leaving my bag here. A few spots were already taken. If some time passes, there might not be any spaces left, so it may be worth visiting soon.

In the main hall, there are tables where you can have a consultation or take a rest. On one side, there are also a few house clubs. On the day I received my one-point lesson, I used a house club for the lesson.

There is also a place where you can have drinks. Overall, I liked that the space felt clean.

This was the hitting bay where I practiced that day. The practice range I usually used was Kakao Friends, so this was my first time trying this machine, but it was easier to operate than I expected. There was also a fan at the seat. In summer, after just a few swings, you can sweat quite a bit even with air conditioning, so that was a nice touch.

There are four hitting bays in total. I liked that the spacing between them was wide, and maybe because the screens were new, they looked bright and clear. While I warmed up and practiced my swing, the pro came over, checked my swing, and started the lesson. I took the lesson from Pro Lee Si-heon.
First, we found the problems in the swing I had been making so far, and the pro corrected my posture step by step. He explained details like my arm angle, head position, and how high I lifted the iron. He explained everything very thoroughly, but in a way that was easy to understand. Since taking up golf as a hobby, I had previously taken one long-term lesson and about two or three one-point lessons, but this was the first time the explanation felt this easy to understand.

He drew lines on each swing to explain the angles, and used different tools to help me find the feeling of where I needed to apply strength. It was really fun and interesting to learn that way. My recent problem was that I had a serious hook, but as I learned step by step, the ball started going straight.

After the lesson ended, he sent me the first video where the problems were visible, a video of the swing after I corrected it well, and feedback through KakaoTalk. Because a one-point lesson is short, you need to remember what you learned and make it your own while practicing alone. Since he left both the videos and feedback, I found myself reading the feedback once before practicing by myself, which helped me stay aware of the problems while hitting.

At first, I was overswinging, the iron was going too far back, and my right elbow felt like it was slipping far behind me. Once I paid attention to keeping the elbow from slipping out and fixed my head position, my swing improved a lot. You can even see the difference in the before-and-after photos. I really felt glad that I went for the one-point lesson. I have been trying to keep practicing and fixing it afterward too, although it is not easy. Still, I am very thankful to Pro Lee Si-heon at Code Golf for finding and correcting the problems in my swing. It is a newly opened golf practice range near Sanbon Station, so I recommend Sanbon golfers check it out. #sanbon-golf-practice-range #sanbon-golf #code-golf #golf-lesson-recommendation #sanbon-golf-lesson #sanbon-golf-practice #sanbon-one-point-lesson #golf-swing-correction #sanbon-golf-range #gunpo-golf-range #gunpo-golf-correction
