Cheucheuheo Sanbon Station Chinese Pub Mala Hot Pot
A Sanbon Station Chinese pub visit for flower mala hot pot, yuringi, and a peach ruby Yantai highball. The source notes a 2-minute walk from Exit 3, 16:00-02:00 hours, a group room, and a photo zone.
Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I had drinks near Sanbon Station for the first time in a while. On the way home from work, I kept craving mala, so I thought of Cheucheuheo, my favorite Chinese-style pub in Sanbon, and visited.

It is located in Sanbon Rodeo. It is close, about two minutes from Sanbon Station Exit 3. Business hours are 16:00 to 02:00. It stays open until 2 a.m. Sanbon does not have that many bars open late, so even 2 a.m. feels plenty and convenient.

I went in the early evening, so the interior was a bit bright, but it gets darker and prettier at night. The Chinese pub mood is strong. It was clean, and there was space under the chairs for belongings, so storing coats was convenient.

This is my favorite seat. Because it is in the corner, it feels somewhat private. When I come with several people, we often sit at this round table, but this time there were only two of us, so we chose another seat.

Cheucheuheo Sanbon also has a group room. It is a large room that can hold about 16 people. There was a group having a company dinner when I visited, but it was not noisy, which I liked. The group room is good for groups, and it also lets other guests eat without being disturbed.

Flower mala hot pot Yuringi Peach ruby Yantai highball
I came for mala anyway, but the owner strongly recommended the flower mala hot pot, so we ordered it. Since it was dinner too, we ordered yuringi, and I was curious about the Yantai highball, so we ordered that as well. I am not very close with Yantai kaoliang liquor, so I asked them to add only a little, and they did. The amount of alcohol can be adjusted.

But was this not so pretty? The cup was huge, so the portion was large. It had a slight Yantai flavor and was sweet and sour, almost like drinking a traditional Chinese beverage. It was tasty.

The flower mala hot pot finally came out. It normally includes bok choy, but they said it had sold out that day, so they added more meat instead. I actually liked that. Inside were plenty of essential mala-tang ingredients, including Chinese glass noodles, thin glass noodles, mung bean sprouts, and yuba.

The yuringi came out too, so I took a photo. I loved that the portions were generous.

They poured the sauce over the top, so the crispness stayed intact, and the lettuce and onion were crunchy and very fresh. They added plenty of Cheongyang chili, so when I put some on each bite and dipped it deeply in the sauce, it tasted incredible.

Yuringi plus Cheongyang chili, lettuce, onion, and sauce was the best. Because it was crispy, it was perfect as a drinking snack.

There is also a nicely decorated photo zone near the entrance. I took plenty of mirror shots there. If you are looking for a Chinese pub in Sanbon, I highly recommend Cheucheuheo.
