Chamchi Gongju in Anyang: 4-Person Tuna Course Review
A friend-group review of Chamchi Gongju (Tuna Princess) on Daengnidan-gil in Anyang, across from Samdeok Park. The post covers the Princess Course for four, tuna refills, side dishes, reservations, parking, hours, and Sunday closure.
Hello, this is Ijjingne! Today we went to Daengnidan-gil in Anyang. Chamchi Gongju (Tuna Princess) is well known as a great-value tuna spot, so my friends and I decided to meet in Anyang and try it.

The restaurant is toward the end of Daengnidan-gil, across from Samdeok Park. It would be nice to visit after browsing Daengnidan-gil and taking a walk in Samdeok Park. For parking, the Samdeok Park public parking lot is a good option. It is very inexpensive! Hours: 15:00-24:00 Last order: 23:45 Closed every Sunday :)

We made a reservation before visiting. There is only one four-person table, so reservations are a must! If two people want a table instead of counter seats, I recommend calling ahead before you go.

Princess Course for 4 people
We ordered the Princess Course, and dishes kept coming out until I felt like I might burst. Even the tuna sashimi was refillable!

First, porridge and soup came out. Before eating raw fish, porridge always makes my stomach feel more comfortable. It was mild and tasty.

The second dish was seasoned sashimi salad 😎 The sauce was so good, and the tuna was thick with a nice texture. The sweet-and-sour flavor made it a great appetite opener.

Around this point, we made somaek with soju and beer..~ The drinks were incredibly cold, which I also loved. They came out almost with ice crystals, and it was honestly the best 👍

They served one grilled tuna dish per two people. The grilled tuna had a clear herbal aroma! It was so delicious.

While we were eating grilled king oyster mushrooms and ginkgo nuts, the tuna was set up and brought out. It tasted as if it had been grilled in butter, so it was very savory and delicious.

First, we had to say cheers. How could we resist somaek? There were many different tuna cuts, and even just looking at them, they seemed fatty and fresh.

The slightly white parts were fatty, which made them even tastier. Some bites were crunchy, some were tender, and everything was excellent!!

Wrapping a piece in seaweed with wasabi and radish sprouts was heaven >< It had been a while since I had tuna, so it tasted even better.

When they set up the tuna, they also placed corn cheese on both sides! There was really a lot of cheese, so it stretched beautifully and tasted great. It feels disappointing when corn cheese does not come out as a side dish~

The fried shrimp was crispy, probably because it had just been fried. While we were eating the tuna, other dishes kept coming out one by one, so they balanced out the richness and made it easy to keep eating.

Sushi even came out.. By the time I was eating sushi, I was starting to feel full. Still, you have to get at least one tuna refill, right?

This is the refill plate.. Since it was a refill, I thought they might give us less, but it was almost the same as the first plate..! We enjoyed the refill plate too, and then walked home because we were so full.. haha Chamchi Gongju was such a tasty, great-value tuna place. I liked the side dishes, and the tuna tasted fresh too. The owner was also lovely and kind, so we had a happy meal and left. Definitely a place I would revisit!! . . . #AnyangStationRestaurants #AnyangSashimi #DaengnidanGilRestaurants #AnyangStationSashimi #AnyangTunaRestaurant #AnyangTunaRecommendation #DaengnidanGilTuna #SamdeokParkTuna #AnyangJungangMarketTuna #AnyangSoloDrinking #AnyangTunaTakeout #AnyangIlbeongaTuna
