A source-grounded review of Bomseol Uiwang, covering the Samdong Plaza second-floor location, free parking, posted hours, basic Korean table setting, grilled mackerel set, 12 side dishes, barley rice, stone pot rice, and wide parking.

Hi, this is Ijjingne. I heard a Korean restaurant had newly opened in Uiwang, so I visited with my parents to have a full Korean table setting. I was excited because the meal was said to be generous and the rice came as stone pot rice.

Bomseol Uiwang already seemed known as a Uiwang restaurant. Park in the Samdong Plaza building and go to the second floor to find the entrance. Parking is free. The posted hours are 11:00 to 21:00, break time is 15:00 to 17:00, and last order is 20:00.

Because we reserved in advance, three seats were set up nicely before we arrived. It felt cute and warm.

Order: basic table setting for two people and one grilled mackerel set.

There were three of us, so we ordered the basic table setting for two plus one grilled mackerel set. The reviewer explains that this means three basic table settings come out together with grilled mackerel.

After ordering, 12 side dishes were set out right away, plus salad and cheonggukjang. The side dishes came out neatly, and having many different items made it fun to choose. The cheonggukjang tasted a little mild at first, but after it simmered well on the burner, it became more flavorful.

As someone who likes namul, the reviewer enjoyed the vegetables a lot. The fried eggplant and japchae also fit their taste, and the rice disappeared quickly.

After finishing the namul quickly, the reviewer went to the self bar and found barley rice prepared for mixing. Bean sprouts, chicory, radish salad, and sesame oil were set up properly for barley rice.

The reviewer brought barley rice while still eating and mixed it. They strongly recommended trying the barley rice at Bomseol, saying it was simple but very tasty.

There was a self-service bar beside the barley rice. Food was prepared in generous amounts, so extra items could be brought as needed. For eggplant, japchae, and salad, the source says staff would bring them to the table if asked.

A cute serving robot brought food at Bomseol. The reviewer said serving robots have become common lately and looked convenient.

After the table setting, grilled mackerel and stone pot rice came out. The source says stone pot rice takes about 15 minutes after ordering, which may be why barley rice is prepared.

The rice was moved into a bowl, then black bean tea water was poured into the pot. While nurungji formed as it bubbled, the meal continued.

The reviewer loved eating fish with the rice that had been soaked in the pot. The grilled mackerel had no fishy taste, with a crispy outside and moist inside.

It was a Korean set meal that felt good for the value, with a pleasant atmosphere and no heavy burden. It also seemed suitable for a simple meal with guests. The reviewer wanted to return with their parents and noted that Bomseol also has soy sauce marinated crab, which many people apparently visit for.

The parking also seemed worry-free because the lot was very wide. #UiwangRestaurant #UiwangKoreanFood #UiwangHanjeongsik #UiwangSoySauceCrab #UiwangGrilledFish
