MMM Beomgye Pub Review: Mountain Beef Sukiyaki
A Beomgye pub review of MMM, a third-floor spot near the Rodeo fountain with rooms, group seating, late hours, service-snack flyer tip, beef sukiyaki, chicken, and draft beer.

I went for drinks in Beomgye and tried MMM Beomgye for the first time. It had rooms and a nice atmosphere.

It is inside Beomgye Rodeo, near the main fountain, on the third floor of a building filled mostly with pubs. Hours were 18:00 to 03:00, and weekends were 17:00 to 03:00. If you receive a flyer from staff on the first floor, bring it because there is a service snack.

We arrived in the early evening and were the first guests. The windows were open wide, so we took a cool window seat with an open view and a safety barrier.

Most seats were for six people, with fewer four-person and two-person tables. It looked good for groups or gatherings. We sat at a two-person table and it was not too cramped.

We ordered mountain beef sukiyaki, boneless chicken, and draft beer.
We first ordered egg butter rice, but they were out of eggs, so we changed to boneless chicken. We started with draft beer and beef sukiyaki.

MMM cooks after orders are placed, so food can take time. Ours took about 20 minutes. We were told to eat once the vegetables softened, so we let it boil well.

Draft beer went very well with the sukiyaki. They gave us a dipping sauce that seemed like chili sauce, and it was surprisingly good with the meat.

The sukiyaki had plenty of glass noodles, lots of bean sprouts, and two whole shiitake mushrooms. The portion was very generous.

The chicken was size S, so it was not huge, but it was reasonable for the price. It came with a large rice ball, and the chicken was crispy and tasty.

There were new menu items and the atmosphere was good. Since it also suits groups, I would recommend it for gatherings or company dinners.
