Anyangcheon Cherry Blossom Night Photo Spot
A local Anyang review of a quieter night cherry blossom photo spot along Anyangcheon, away from the busy Seoksu-dong main festival road, with streetlights, sparse crowds, and convenience stores nearby.
Have you all gone to see cherry blossoms? I made a quick night visit. It was a little bittersweet, but night cherry blossoms have their own charm. As an Anyang local, I want to recommend an Anyangcheon photo spot.

This is the Anyangcheon cherry blossom road. The Anyangcheon cherry blossom path is very long and large in scale. The main road where the cherry blossom festival is usually held is on the Seoksu-dong side. That area is already so famous that there are many people, making it hard to take photos. Even at night, you will be pushed around by crowds. As someone who has gone to the cherry blossom festival for years, I would choose another spot.
I recommend the road right in front of these two apartment buildings. If you look at the map, Anil Elementary School is between the two apartments, and you can see the path along the stream. That is where I got my photos. The blossoms were fully open, but there were almost no people. I took the photos around 9 to 10 p.m., when plenty of people are usually still out walking, but it was empty.

The road was empty, and the path was empty too. I came back with a lot of photos.

The cherry blossom trees stretched wide toward the road, so they were nice to see from the car. Of course, getting out and seeing them up close is best.
Please take a look at this. I filmed the road while driving slowly, and it was quiet and really nice.
The blossoms spread wide to the side and looked very full. The flowers overlapped with the streetlights, so the added light made them look even prettier.

I took a photo with the traffic light too. It had a slightly Japanese feel to me, though maybe that is just me.

This is a good photo spot outside the main Seoksu-dong cherry blossom path. The streetlights stay on late, and there are convenience stores nearby, so you can take a simple walk and grab a late-night snack. Since there are not many people, you can enjoy the blossoms at your own pace.
