Anyang Bakdal Market Mukho Susan Seafood Review
A review of Mukho Susan, a small seafood restaurant in Anyang Bakdal Market, with address, parking notes, takeout discount, seats, shabu-shabu, mullet, and seodeori-tang.
Hello, this is Izzingne. After being worn out by real life, I am writing a blog post for the first time in a few days. Today I wanted to revisit a good restaurant from the neighborhood where I used to live, so I am writing this review. This is a small seafood restaurant in Bakdal Market, and I have been going there for five years.
Gyeonggi Anyang-si Manan-gu Bakdal-ro 525beon-gil 2 There is no parking space at the restaurant, but public parking is available about one minute away. Takeout is a little cheaper, roughly about 5,000 won less.

It is inside the market, but it is still fairly easy to find. From the main road at Bakdal Intersection, go into the alley by Chicken Teacher, keep going straight, then turn slightly toward the 10 o'clock direction and continue a bit more. It appears on the right. The public parking lot is also on that route, so use it if you need it. Since moving away, I use that public parking lot every time I come here.

I always feel that the seafood looks very fresh here. It gives the impression that it is managed well.

It is clean and cozy. If you open the door visible on the left side of the photo, there is one seat there, and it has a terrace-like feeling, so when the weather is cool it has a strong old-school mood. There are about five or six indoor seats. They also offer a takeout discount, so before I moved, if there was no seat, I would just take food to go. Now I cannot do that as easily, so I always call before visiting.

Sae-jogae shabu-shabu Whole mullet Seodeori-tang
I went that day for sae-jogae shabu-shabu. Since I was there, I also ordered one whole mullet, which my dad likes.

The basic snacks came out, and today we went with soju and beer. As someone who feels older now, daseulgi and beondegi alone make the drinks go down smoothly. The basic snack lineup is really nice.

The shabu-shabu broth came out first. After it boiled a little, the vegetables and sae-jogae clams came out one after another. When I am hungry, I do not wait, so I put everything in.

The visual was amazing. The broth was clean and mild, and the sae-jogae was perfectly chewy.

Writing this makes me want to eat it again. I still have not found a seafood restaurant I like near the place I moved to, so I still drive about 20 minutes to eat here. The octopus and abalone are not part of the basic set. They were added separately.

While we were eating shabu-shabu, the mullet came out. The first mullet I ever tried had such a strong earthy taste that I had a bad memory of it, but after eating it here, I became a mullet lover.

After finishing the shabu-shabu and eating about half of the sashimi, we ordered the essential seafood restaurant dish, seodeori-tang, or spicy fish bone stew. The broth in this seodeori-tang is the real thing.
At this point I was about to burst, but nothing could stop me. I added ramyeon first. Once again, I enjoyed a great local restaurant and felt like I gained about three kilos on the way home. If you live in Bakdal-dong, visit Bakdal Market often, or crave sashimi, try this place. It is a real good spot. #AnyangSashimiRestaurant #BakdalDongSeafoodRestaurant #BakdalMarketSeafoodRestaurant #BakdalMarketRestaurant
