Italy Noodle Shop Seonbu: Pasta Lunch in Ansan
A review of Italy Noodle Shop in Seonbu-dong, Ansan, near Seonbu Station Exit 5, with basil pesto oil pasta, shrimp rose risotto, Cajun chicken salad, and a cash-payment movie-ticket event.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. I heard a tasty pasta place had newly opened in Seonbu-dong, so I went to check it out. Italy Noodle Shop in Seonbu-dong is a chain, but this was my first time seeing it in Seonbu-dong. A friend who went with me said they had seen other branches a few times, so it must be fairly recognizable.

It is close to Diamond Plaza in Seonbu-dong, and about five minutes on foot from Seonbu Station Exit 5. The exterior is a vivid orange, so it stands out and is easy to find. Business hours are 11:00-21:30, and parking is not available.

Italy Noodle Shop Seonbu is also running a free movie-ticket event. If you pay 30,000 won or more in cash, then when booking for two people, one person gets a free ticket and the accompanying person gets 30 percent off. That is a big benefit. If two people visit and each has pasta or risotto plus a salad or side menu, the bill can come to around 30,000 won, so it felt easy for two people to join the event.

The interior felt clean and cozy. There seemed to be about eight tables, and there was also seating for six or seven people. Maybe because it was newly opened, it was clean and nicely set up in advance.

Basil pesto oil pasta Shrimp rose risotto Cajun chicken salad
I love oil pasta, so I chose an oil pasta. My friend likes risotto, so they chose the shrimp rose. The salad looked generous in the menu photo with ricotta cheese, so we added one too.
Looking at it again makes me want to eat it again. The portions were generous and the food was tasty. I could feel that they used plenty of ingredients.

First was the Cajun salad. The chicken was very tender and crispy, and they gave two large scoops of ricotta cheese. You can choose one dressing from four options: oriental, garlic, black sesame, or yuja. I chose oriental, and it matched even better because balsamic was drizzled on top.

The basil pesto had a good aroma and went well with the oil. There was also plenty of shrimp.

The shrimp rose risotto was thick and had a rich rose flavor, which I liked. This dish also had lots of shrimp.
The slightly white pieces were all shrimp. The cheese stretched well and it was so tasty that I kept stealing bites.

Both menus fit my taste really well, so I enjoyed the meal. There are not many good pasta places in Dongmyeong, but I could see why this is considered a Seonbu-dong spot. They also had a variety of steaks and platters, so next time I want to revisit and try the steak.

We finished everything cleanly. If you are looking for tasty pasta, risotto, or steak in Dongmyeong, I strongly recommend this place. #SeonbuDongRestaurant #AnsanDate #AnsanPasta #DongmyeongRestaurant #AnsanSteak #SeonbuStationRestaurant #DongmyeongSpot #DongmyeongPasta #AnsanLunchRecommendation #SeonbuDongWesternFood
