2025 Samsung Welstory Biz Festa Food Festa Review at Yangjae aT Center
A first-person review of the 2025 Samsung Welstory Biz Festa Food Festa at Yangjae aT Center, covering parking, pre-registration, tastings, games, and sample highlights.
Hello! Today I’m finally writing about the Food Festa I visited last year — one full year later. I kept putting it off, and now the 2026 Food Festa is already next week. Since I also pre-registered and plan to visit again next week, I thought I would look back at what last year was like and share this review.

The location is always the same: Yangjae aT Center. 📍For parking, the aT Center parking lot is the most convenient. As someone who once drove around in circles trying to find another parking lot, I’d say the aT Center lot is easier even if the line is a bit long. Going early in the morning is best. The busiest time to enter is in the afternoon after lunchtime. If your schedule allows, the morning is also better for looking around more comfortably.

There was an exhibition guide map and a timetable for Days 1 to 3. They also run events, so if you have some extra time, it could be fun to join them.

I started with Exhibition Hall 2 on the 3rd floor. You need a card like this to enter. If you visit after pre-registering, they attach a printed sticker with your affiliation and name to the card. Pre-registering in advance is definitely the best. When you enter, they punch a hole in the card. It seemed like re-entry was probably not allowed.
Below, I’ll briefly go through the tastings and games I tried.

This was chicken, and it looked unusual so I tried it. It was not burnt — it was squid ink chicken. The taste was just like regular chicken. It could be useful when you want to serve something a little different in cafeteria-style meals. People would probably be surprised, though.

As someone who loves spicy food, I was really curious when I saw Silbi kimchi, so I tried it. It was seriously very spicy. I could tell it was spicy, but I wasn’t sure about the flavor, so I passed on it.

This was a soy sauce I received after joining some kind of event. They said that when you want to make pickles, you can just pour this in. Since there’s no need to mix a separate soy sauce seasoning, it seemed convenient. I’ll try it at home, and if it’s good, I’ll use it when making pickles.

There were also mixed grains. This was something I actually use often, so I was happy to see it. Last year, a lot of black rice I saw elsewhere was not in great condition, but I remember this one being relatively okay. There were no samples, so I just told them I had used it before and that it was good.

I think I just wanted to eat this. The pineapple was good!

I think this was a Pulmuone game. I probably failed, or came last, and maybe received a pen. There are surprisingly many different games, so it’s fun to participate and receive samples.

This was Maeil Dairy. Last year I think they had ice cream, but this time it was yogurt. Maeil Sangha Farm ice cream was really good. I also tried Maeil roll cake, and that was good too.

This booth was Pulmuone. I like tofu noodles, so I think I picked some up. Pulmuone is also a brand I use often, so it was nice to see it there.

Dongwon was giving out cute pens. I had ordered Dongwon omija before and tried it, and it was tasty enough that I used it as a snack item once. It looks like yuja may be new, so I should try that too.

Cute mini ketchup. Ottogi is something I use every day anyway. The Ottogi game was fun — I think it was something like throwing shoes. Everyone seems to prepare a good variety of games.

There were many types of ready-made side dishes too. When you occasionally run out of side dishes, these can be very useful. It was my first time seeing a finished rolled omelet product, and it was better than I expected.

This was a snack handed out at the event, and I think it was run by Haneul Food. You could choose from three kinds of fried chili peppers. I think I chose the red chili pepper. It was a chili pepper and pork fritter, so it had pork inside. It was spicy and tasty.

Myeonsarang is also surprisingly good at fried items. When I order gimmari, I always choose Myeonsarang, and it tastes good.

There was cold noodle tasting, so I tried it. Maybe because it’s a noodle brand, it was good. I think I ate two servings. Maybe I went there just to eat.

There was also a brand that packed things into a cute bag like this. Walking around the whole exhibition was pretty fun. It’s nice when products I use often appear, and when I see something new, I think I should try it later. Coming once a year to look around like this feels educational, and it’s also fun.

The downside is that your arms get extremely tired. If you don’t have a car, it may be better to take only a reasonable amount and head out. Food Festa really gives you a lot to collect. At this point, it feels like I went grocery shopping. Trying various items and later using the good ones as snacks can be surprisingly helpful. I’ll visit the 2026 Food Festa next week and try to post about that too. Below is my 2024 Food Festa review. I wrote more detailed parking information and other notes there, so I recommend checking it before you go.
I’ll also leave a note about the 2026 Food Festa. On Day 2 this time, the Korea Burger Championship will be held at Food Festa. I’m planning to go on Day 2, so I should be able to watch the championship as well.
