2024 Samsung Welstory Food Festa Visit Review
A same-day review of the 2024 Samsung Welstory Food Festa at aT Center, covering difficult parking, preregistration and on-site registration, a parking discount ticket at the registration desk, Hall 1 food-tech displays, and Hall 2 tasting events.
Hello, this is Ijjingne. Today I went to the Samsung Welstory Food Festa. The event was running through the next day, so I sat down at my computer as soon as I got back for anyone planning to go then.

First, parking was very difficult. The area in front of aT Center was completely congested, and it took exactly one hour from arrival to parking.
When aT Center parking looked full, I had seen many posts recommending two other places, so I tried them myself. But because long-term parkers and people who were not there for the exhibition also used them, turnover was extremely slow. Hardly any cars left. I came up empty-handed and returned to aT Center. I recommend being patient and lining up on the way to the aT Center parking lot.
We also regretted not just lining up as soon as we arrived.
This was the link I previously introduced for preregistration. I wrote more detailed parking information there, so please refer to it.

After one hour, we parked and went inside. Since I had preregistered, I printed my name tag right away from the computer on the left. People who had not registered seemed to register on-site at the booth on the right. One useful tip: receive one parking discount ticket at the registration desk shown in the first photo.

I received the pamphlet and shopping bag they handed out and entered. First, I will show Exhibition Hall 1, which is open to everyone.

Exhibition Hall 1 was mainly focused on food tech. This photo was taken around 4 p.m., and there were hardly any people. There were almost no experiences, events, or tastings, though that may have been because I went late in the afternoon.

I found one roulette event in the middle and received a Basaak chip.

A food and beverage seminar lecture that started at 15:00 was in progress. They were also selling various items from a vending machine.

Now let us go to Exhibition Hall 2. Just looking at it, the crowd was huge, and I was surprised too. Everyone, Hall 2 is where you need to go. This is where the events and tastings are. There were people enjoying events and tastings, people resting at chairs and tables, and staff working hard to help visitors. It was really packed, and walking around drained my energy.

When you enter, they give you coupons and a shopping bag. I was thirsty, so I stopped for coffee first. Right across from there, I received a snack wrap and tonkatsu. I was full, so I did not take the fries or bagel. The coffee and snack wrap were delicious, and then I started looking around.

At Sajo, there was a roulette event, and I got skewer chicken.

This was Ilpum Kimchi. I played the game where you catch a ball in the air, and I drew the first-place ball. I won 5 kg of freshly made poggi kimchi, and they said they would send it if I left my home address. It was already heavy, so that was thoughtful.

This was my personal top pick at the Food Festa: Maeil Dairy Sangha Farm milk ice cream. It was nutty and delicious. They also gave unsweetened yogurt, granola, syrup, and more. If you go, make sure to try the milk ice cream, because this was the only ice cream tasting I saw.

Look at all the samples I brought back. Ilpum Kimchi, Cheongjungone, and Labnosh gave especially many prizes because I won first place in events. I usually do not tire easily, but this was exhausting, and my shoulder almost gave out. What I showed here is only a small part. Ottogi, Sunjin, Cheongjungone, Pulmuone, CJ, and many more brands participated, more than 70 in total. I recommend stopping by to try events, enjoy tastings, and receive gifts. I want to go again next year. I discovered many companies I had not known before, and trying various products helped me think about menu planning. As someone working in institutional food service, I thought it was an excellent exhibition.
