Sushino Yuki Sanbon Station Sushi: Worth the Wait

Hello, this is Ijjingne. Today I went out with a friend for a simple dinner at Sushino Yuki, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant located in Sanbon, Gunpo.

Opening hours: 11:30–22:00 Break time: 15:00–17:00 All plates are 2,000 won. If you visit during peak hours, there may be a wait. I also tried going on another day around 6:30 p.m., but the waiting line was so long that I ended up looking somewhere else. Still, it is such a tasty place that I think it is worth waiting for.

Even though this is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, there are also four-person seats. I really liked that part. It seems good for a family visit, and for guests who come with children, these seats would probably feel more comfortable.

I first looked through the menu to see what kinds of sushi they had. If the sushi you want is not in front of you on the belt, you can order from the menu and they make it right away.

I also liked that the sushi had covers over it. Because this is a popular place, the sushi all felt fresh too. I tend not to prefer conveyor belt sushi restaurants when there are not many customers, but Sushino Yuki even has waits on weekdays, so it felt like a place I could trust.

Once you sit down, pickled scallions, pickled ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi are prepared in front of you. The staff brings the soup.

As soon as I sat down, I carefully picked the sushi I wanted to eat. I liked that there was a good variety. I chose several types, including shrimp, yukhoe, tataki, salmon, flounder, and ankimo.

Some places make ankimo taste fishy, but at Sushino Yuki it was delicious without that fishy taste. There were also various sauces, and they paired well with the sushi.

The onion salmon and aged-kimchi flounder were also so good. The pieces were thick and large. There were some one-piece sushi plates, but most of the sushi came as two pieces, so the portion felt decent.

I picked my three favorites. In particular, the sushi with the egg, shrimp, and cheese combination was just unbeatable. Even the sauce was perfect, so I kept wanting more. The salmon also tasted clean and delicious, as if they had topped it with a house-made sauce.

While eating, you can also see a little flame show. The flame-scented salmon cheese went perfectly with the sauce. Watching the sushi being made right in front of me while eating made the meal even better, and everyone working there seemed so energetic that I already felt like coming back again.

This was the first time I had seen a three-piece sushi plate at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. It was egg sushi, but getting three pieces felt great. I like egg sushi, so I was very happy with it. I also liked that the staff took good care of guests and quickly removed the lids so the seats did not feel cluttered. For me, this was the tastiest sushi restaurant I have tried in Sanbon.
