ep.cake Anyang Bakdal-dong Spacious Cafe Review
A Bakdal-dong cafe visit to ep.cake near Bakdal Market, with 11:00-20:00 hours, first-floor and basement seating, daily-changing cakes, passion fruit ade, Americano, and chestnut cheesecake.
Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I wanted to read and had some work to do, so I visited my neighborhood cafe ep.cake. I had always only packed cakes to go, and this was my first time eating inside. The interior mood was nice and pretty, so I wanted to write about it.

It is located in an alley near Bakdal Market. Business hours are 11:00 to 20:00. There is a basement level and a first floor. In the early days, there was only the basement, but they expanded to the first floor too. I like that it became more spacious.

The first floor has this kind of mood. It is not exactly a space made for studying, reading, or laptop work. It feels better for sitting comfortably and chatting. The basement, on the other hand, has wide, large tables and a quiet mood, so it is perfect for getting work done.

The cake selection changes day by day. I like ep.cake's signature mugwort cheese cake the most, so I often get it to go. During fig season, I think I tried the fig cake once too. On this day, I tried a different cake for the first time.

After ordering, I went down to the basement space. If you go farther inside the cafe, there is a door that leads downstairs. In summer, they decorate this path with a pretty terrace, but since it was winter, it seemed to be folded away. The summer mood is really nice too.

Go straight down just one level and you arrive.

Passion fruit ade Americano Chestnut cheesecake

The chestnut cheesecake seemed like a seasonal menu item, so I ordered it for the first time. The cake in the display did not have cream on it, but they said they add the cream after an order comes in. The chestnut cream was really delicious. The Americano was rich and tasty, and the ade was sweet in a good way.

I got my work done properly and enjoyed the food too. It was a good day.

If you are looking for a spacious cafe in Anyang Bakdal-dong, or a comfortable cafe good for a laptop or reading, I recommend ep.cake. Whatever kind of cake they have, make sure to try one. It is a true cake spot.
