Anyang Sushi Story Set Review near Anyang 1st Street
A review of Sushi Story near Anyang 1st Street, with hours, break time, assorted sushi with udon, shrimp tempura, ordering notes, and favorite egg sushi.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. I visited a sushi restaurant I often go to in Anyang 1st Street. The sushi here has a good, filling set composition, so I have visited for a long time, and I recently went again to write this review.

It is right next to the underground road at Anyang 1st Street, near Moise and Jjigae Maeul. The hours are 11:30 to 21:00, with break time from 15:00 to 17:00. During weekend lunch peak time, there can be a wait. I visited on a weekday afternoon and luckily there was one seat available.

Assorted sushi with two udon Shrimp tempura
Every time I come, I order the assorted sushi, so I ordered the same thing again. I also added shrimp tempura as a side.

Sushi Story also has an Instagram and Facebook review event. They provide a drink, so it would be good to participate.

Before the sushi came out, they set up soy sauce, soup, rakyo, pickled ginger, and tempura soy sauce. I really liked that a lighter soy sauce for tempura was served separately.

The sushi is made to order right in front of you, and if you watch for a little while, it comes out quickly. The udon also comes out fairly fast.

Once the shrimp tempura came out too, the table felt full and generous. The assorted set comes with 10 pieces, so it is easy to try different kinds and then order extra pieces of the ones you liked. I liked that add-on orders are available in 4-piece portions.

I took a photo of the cute egg sushi. It was fluffy, sweet, and delicious. I like salmon sushi and egg sushi, and Sushi Story egg sushi is genuinely good. It is the kind of taste that keeps coming to mind.

It is mini udon, but the portion is not too small, and the refreshing broth goes well with sushi.

When I eat only sushi, it can feel like the meal is not quite filling enough, and I often want a soup side. Here, it is included in the basic set, so I like that I do not have to think about it.

The shrimp tempura is also a hidden tasty menu item. It is very crispy outside and moist inside. Because it uses large shrimp, it is even better.

You can see the sushi being made right in front of you, which is fun to watch, and the cleanliness is visible too. The place has some years behind it, but that also means it has been loved for a long time. Whenever I crave sushi in the neighborhood, this is the place I think of first.

I saw a cute sushi model at the counter. It had the same composition as Sushi Story sushi, which made it even cuter.
When you want sushi in Anyang 1st Street, I recommend eating at Sushi Story. It has been there for a long time, so it feels reliable, the price is kind, and the owner is friendly. I always leave in a good mood, and I would revisit 100%.
