Songhwa Yukgaejang Sotbap near Jisan Resort Review
A lunch review of Songhwa Yukgaejang near Jisan Resort ski area, with hours, Sunday closure, parking, dolsot jeyuk deopbap, sides, portion, price, and nurungji.
Hi, this is Ijjingne. A few days ago I went to Jisan Resort ski area. Before entering the ski area, I looked for a nearby restaurant to have lunch and found this place. I had hot stone rice, and it was very good.

The location is right below Jisan Resort. It is a good place to stop for a meal before going to the ski resort. The hours are 10:00 to 21:00, it is closed every Sunday, and parking is available in front of the shop.

Dolsot jeyuk deopbap
There are various menu items. Yukgaejang seems to be the main dish, but I was craving hot stone rice, so both of us ordered hot stone rice.

After ordering, they first set out the side dishes. Simple side dishes and doenjang soup with tofu were served.

After waiting about 5 minutes, the rice came out. The stone pot was very large, and the portion was generous. I could not finish it all. It looked like about 1.5 bowls of rice, with jeyuk, bean sprouts, and seaweed flakes.

For KRW 8,000, it felt like a good deal. The value was solid.

As I mixed it well, I could hear the sizzling sound of nurungji forming on the bottom. I like nurungji, so I pressed the rice down before mixing, and it became crispier and tastier. If you are visiting Jisan Resort ski area and plan to eat before going in, the writer recommends Songhwa Yukgaejang.
