Strikezon Ansan Seonbu Screen Baseball Review

Hi, this is Ijjingne. Today I visited Strikezon Ansan Seonbu, a screen baseball venue in Ansan Seonbu-dong. Strikezon is a screen baseball chain, so it can also be found in other areas.

Strikezon Ansan Seonbu is on the 5th floor of the Dongmyeong Chicken building, which I described as the most famous chicken place in Seonbu-dong. It is in the main commercial area of Dongmyeong pub street, so access was convenient. After getting off the elevator, it is in the center, and the red sign made it easy to spot.

The listed fees were 48,000 won for 60 minutes, 34,000 won for 40 minutes, and 18,000 won for 20 minutes, regardless of group size. Extra time was 8,000 won per 10 minutes. The batting challenge was 5,000 won, and the pitching challenge was 7,000 won. A service item was offered for writing a blog or Instagram review, and Ansan local currency could be used.

I had used the Ansan Seonbu branch two or three times. On weekends, rooms were sometimes unavailable and there could be a wait, so making a reservation in advance was recommended. If you have to wait, you can write down your name and play a few rounds of darts while time passes.

You can drink while playing baseball, and snacks and side dishes were available. Boneless fried chicken was 19,000 won, seasoned or half-and-half chicken was 19,900 won, and combination or bulgogi pizza was 18,000 won. There were also snacks, cup noodles, dried snacks, and more.

The items were displayed neatly, which made it tempting to grab something. With beer lined up like that, It was hard not to drink, and usually had at least one can when visiting.

Gloves were stored after disinfection, indoor slippers were available for easy changing, and blankets were prepared for anyone who felt cold.

After the venue details, it was time to play. Even though the numbers were uneven that day, the group formed 3:4 teams based on gender and skill. Players could choose baseball teams too, and I let friends choose because I was not familiar with them.

The room was clean. Chairs were provided for the number of people, and it did not feel cramped, so the group used it comfortably. Bats inside were separated for women and men, and random strong-hitter and contact-hitter settings made the game more fun.

My team won. Everyone had similar skill levels, so the score was not high, but it was just right for playing together as a group. I laughed more than I had in a while, and recommended screen baseball for group bets while drinking or when the usual drinking routine feels repetitive.

That was my visit to Strikezon Ansan Seonbu. I expect to keep using it often, and even simply making contact with the incoming ball feels exciting. I hope everyone tries it at least once.
