Anyang Red Button Board Game Cafe and Snacks Review

Hi, this is Ijjingne. I visited a board game cafe for the first time in a while. I went to Red Button in Anyang 1st Street, and after visiting, I understood why Red Button is popular among the different chains. It is a very good spot for an indoor date.

It is on the main street of Anyang 1st Street. If you need parking, I recommend Anyang Station Rotary public parking. The hours are 13:00 to 00:00, and on weekends they are 13:00 to 01:00.

The price is the same on weekdays and weekends: KRW 3,000 per hour. That feels pretty reasonable for an hourly rate. Blankets and chargers are provided for people who need them, and if you plan to visit as a group, group room reservations are available, so booking ahead is recommended.

You can pay by the hour, but if you plan to stay for around 4 hours, the fixed-rate plan is cheaper. Youth can use it for KRW 2,000, so it also seems good for students. It works well as an indoor date spot.

I visited with one other person and was guided to a square-table room. For groups, they guide guests to larger round-table rooms. The round tables looked like they would make the games feel even more fun.

At a board game cafe, you have to try the food and drinks. They sold snacks that are easy to eat while playing, along with filling items like chicken, pizza, and tteokbokki.

We ordered two drinks, ice cream, and churros. I had tried the churros before and liked them so much that I ordered them again. You order through a tablet, and when the food is ready, an alert appears on the tablet.

You pay for the drinks separately from the time charge when you pick them up.

The churros had Nutella inside, and eating them with whipped cream made them very sweet and tasty. It was a full sugar hit.

The affogato was also very good. It had vanilla ice cream with caramel syrup, and you pour an espresso shot over it.

Even though I had already had coffee before coming, it was addictive enough that I kept eating it.

The churros were easy to pick up and eat while playing games. The ice cream needs to be eaten right away before it melts.

I tried many games that day. The tablet recommended games by number of players, which made it easy to try different ones. The games were organized well by name, so they were easy to find. The condition of the games was also clean and good, which made Red Button one of my favorite board game cafes.

Overall, it was clean and well organized. There were so many types of games that I still did not get to try many of the ones I wanted. I want to come back and play more next time. I highly recommend it for an indoor date.
