Baked Brie with Les Deux Palesiens Brie
A simple home wine-snack review using Cheese Party Les Deux Palesiens Brie, honey, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds, an air fryer, and Bread & Butter Pinot Noir 2021.
Hi, this is Izzingne. Today I made baked brie, a popular wine snack that is easy to prepare at home. It paired really well with wine, and it was just right for nights when I wanted a small bite but did not want a heavy late-night meal.

The brie I used was Cheese Party Les Deux Palesiens Brie. I bought it because I had seen reviews saying it was good value and had a nicer salty flavor than other brie cheeses. It really was tasty. For my taste, the saltiness was just right.

When you open the box, it is sealed like a can. After opening the can, the brie comes wrapped neatly in foil. Even the smell was nutty and appetizing.

I made close cuts in the cheese so the honey could soak inside well. It did not stick and cut more easily than I expected. Brush on honey to your taste. I poured on quite a lot.

I used three kinds of nuts: walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and almonds. The pumpkin seeds made the color look pretty.
When I sprinkled them gently, they kept falling down, so I pressed them in one by one.

After adding plenty of nuts, I spread a thin layer of honey on top one more time. Since I was using an air fryer, I preheated it at 170 C for about five minutes.

I carefully placed it inside and baked it at 170 C for about ten minutes. Air fryer performance differs by home, so watch the color and take it out when it looks nicely golden.

The nuts browned beautifully. The cheese did not melt completely; the outside held its shape while the inside softened slightly. If it melts too much, it becomes hard to eat, so this level felt just right.

I happened to have a gifted wine at home, and I made this baked brie after a light dinner when I felt a little hungry. It was a perfect match with red wine. The wine in the photo is Bread & Butter Pinot Noir 2021. It had moderate bitterness, some sweetness, and a flavor that would not be too polarizing. The acidity was on the low side, with a slight buttery note at the finish. If you have brie, your favorite nuts, and honey at home, this is really easy to make and looks like a fancy wine snack. I highly recommend it. I made it several more times after that day.
