Sulkkoma Noksapyeong Bar for an Itaewon Second Round
A personal review of Sulkkoma near Noksapyeong after a first round in Itaewon, covering its retro-hip mood, cozy tables, makgeolli and Korean-fusion menu, tomato stew, and pepperoni potato jeon.
Hello. Today I went to Itaewon to meet a friend who lives in Yongsan. After going to Kulbam for the first round, we came near Noksapyeong for a simple second round at Sulkkoma. Here is my honest self-paid review.

It is closer to Noksapyeong Station, but it was also a walkable distance after eating first in the bar street behind Itaewon's Hamilton Hotel. Still, you should look carefully at the map. Go up through the alley, head a little farther inside, and it is the house at the end of the alley.

The interior is cozy, but there are quite a few tables reaching into the inside, so it can hold more people than expected. There is also a six-person group table.

The mood is retro hip. I remembered my friend saying it looked like a wardrobe from a grandmother's house. They also sell makgeolli, and it feels a bit like Korean fusion.

Because we visited for a second round, we ordered just two menu items first.

The noodle add-on came as pasta noodles, and the pork cutlet was served separately on its own plate. I liked that they served the pork cutlet separately so it would not get soggy.

Maybe because we ate it with pasta, it felt like eating tomato pasta. It tasted like a basic tomato stew, but with tteokgalbi added.

It had a bit of a salad pasta feel. But the value felt a little weak because the portion was very small for the price. It is true that we ordered only a little, but it was not just that we were not full. Even the bowls and plates were small and cute. Without the noodle and pork cutlet add-ons, it would have felt even smaller.

The potato jeon was salty and tasty, maybe because it was cooked together with pepperoni. It was really good dipped in chili sauce. But this was also a bit small, just slightly larger than an adult man's palm. It was definitely a bar to visit for a second round. For a first round, even two people would probably need to order three dishes to feel full.

The taste was fine. The dark space lit by lighting also had a decent mood. But the portions were a little small. Since it is worth visiting for a second round, I recommend it for that. There is also one outdoor table. It happened to be empty, so we sat outside, and I liked the feeling of eating outdoors.
