Yongdune Haejangguk Near Jeju Airport for Breakfast
A Jeju breakfast stop near the airport with 07:00-17:00 hours, parking, spicy bone haejangguk, crisp side dishes, dombe meat, and a satisfying first meal after landing.
I went to Jeju over the weekend. I really did not want to come back. I took an 8 a.m. flight, and after arriving and picking up the rental car, I was so hungry that I quickly searched for a restaurant near the airport. That place was Yongdune Haejangguk.
456-4 Seohaean-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju Hours: 07:00-17:00 Parking available at the shop, with plenty of spaces in front and nearby There may be a wait in the morning or at lunch.

The shop was smaller and cozier than I expected. I really liked that parking was easy. The little dol hareubang detail was cute too.

Two-person set Choose two from four haejangguk options plus dombe meat We chose the spicy umu jeopjjak bone soup.
We ordered the set like this and both picked the spicy option from the four choices. I also wanted to try the dombe meat salad, so I was glad there was a set menu.

Parking was possible right in front of the shop. There are other shops nearby, so they seemed to have written the parking note clearly to avoid confusion.

The side dishes arrived. I especially liked the dried radish and pickled peppers. The sauce for dipping the meat was the mustard-style sauce you often get at other haejangguk places, but this one tasted a little different. It was sweeter and thicker, and much better.

Doesn't it look delicious? It was spicy, but the broth was clear rather than cloudy. The radish shreds on top of the haejangguk were clean-tasting and added texture. The meat came off the bones easily, which was a relief because bone haejangguk can be annoying when the meat does not come off.

The color was amazing. I had not drunk the night before, so I did not personally feel it curing a hangover, but I heard people at other tables saying things like, "This is hangover relief" and "My stomach is finally settling."

This was the small dombe meat. Because it was for two people, it looked small at first, but with a bowl of haejangguk it was actually plenty for two.

It went perfectly with white rice. The meat was very tender, and the sweet-and-sour seasoned salad was balanced well.
I wanted to capture how easily the meat came off the bone. This was my first meal in Jeju, and I was really satisfied. Next time I go to Jeju, I want to come back for breakfast. #JejuRestaurants #NearJejuAirport #JejuAirportBreakfast #JejuHaejangguk #HaejanggukRestaurant
